If you play the objectives (ie capturing) on conquests, you can gain a shit ton of xp without worrying about k/d ratio
someone on my team earlier got 7k (mvp of round) and went 0-16, just cause he capped objectives
Yep, well I now know that. I hit 100 col already.
My first 64 col stars were me just screwing around, but then the last 35 stars I suddenly felt the urge to get all my weapons pass the 500 kill marker and then I try harded so damn hard on Canals.. Before I knew it, I was like col 94. And knowing I only had like 6 more stars to go, I try harded so much more. By the time I hit 100 col, I was still glowing white hot from being a major faget. I mean, like a super faget just kill stealing and shit. Man I felt terrible but at the same time I felt that I was kinda freed from the game.

I wish I could have fun in Canals TDM. It would be neat to earn easy XP and assignments and simaltaenously actually enjoy myself in a video game. Sadly it's populated by the worst players; M16 Col 100 tryhards roving around in a squad on one side, and people who can't go positive on my side.
It's amazing how little I get rezzed despite the number of people who play the easiest class in the game.

I would say that it's worth it only if you know that you will be playing a lot of this game. At least 50 hours. If not then the content in the base game is more than enough.

I like how the comments section on the battlelog news pretty much waters down to "stop doing work on battlelog and making new dogtags and focus more on the bug fixing part!!".
Because as we all know, the artists that make these dogtags are the very same people who are responsible for BF3's netcode, kit programming and all that jazz.

It's harder than the M16A3, but if you get your clicking rhythm correct, it will literally go full auto. You can tell because the spread doesn't reset and the sound is continuous. If you add a miniscule delay to your clicking rhythm for mid-long range the spread will reset instantly between bursts and you'll be firing nearly full auto with the accuracy of an autosniper if you use heavy barrel. It's a god damn incredible weapon.

Looks like the SCAR-H with far more controllable recoil.
Since I have CQ now I guess I'll give it a try. Oddly enough it receives less spread benefit from heavy barrel than the SCAR. Nothing significant but a weird quirk.

In BF2, a friend of mine got kicked from a server for hacking because he had a couple hundred points.
Nevermind the fact that he was medic.
with 2 kills.
and all his points in reviving.
And then, in 2142, camp Gibraltar... literally everyone was going assault and using the Voss except me, so then he switches to the baur and starts killing people at range.
Suddenly his K/D was awesome and the admin said "okay you can turn off the aimbot now dude"
And then again, 2142, him and another friend played tag-team knifers. Both go recon with active camo, one plays bait, and when a guy goes in for the kill the other comes in and knifes him.
70 kills between the two of them, knifes only, and an entire server of pissed off people.

Then you have to deal with the M98B recons that either blend in so well it's like they have Halo's camo powerup or are sitting on the crane.

Yea I'd say it's worth it.
Canals fuck load of fun. I top every round with like over 100 kills with a KD atleast over 2 everytime. TDM Canals is where my aggressive sniping was born. Place is perfect to sharpen your reflex and accuracy as that place with a sniper raifu means you either hit or you die. And thus I decided to take this new found skill to other maps, get banned from servers. My favorite kinda bans are the ones where the people of the server needs to vote on you getting banned, this shows how many people actually think you friggin hack. :v:

I got banned from all the ones where I don't lag, the only thing I hate is people constantly c4 bombing.

It's really accurate and fires quite fast. At medium/long range nothing can top it.
The bullet velocity is kinda low though, you have to lead a lot.
It's also quite good with a suppressor because the difference between min and max damage is so low to begin with.
Really it's one of the more interesting guns they added in the game, I like that it doesn't use the regular 5.56 damage model.

Also I finally got to 45, the AS VAL is fun.
