Are they kidding with that rainy window bullshit
It's foreshadowing. The game will have even more vision obscuring shit than BF3.
I lost my EyeToy I can't see the image
Can't get the I was there dogtag for some reason :/
The background is grey-blue. God damn it they're probably gonna color grade it again.
They have to maintain that "artistic integrity".
battlefield 4 will take place in Britan
battlefield 4 will take place in Britan
how has nobody made this joke yet lmao this is great
Sabalan Pipeline reminds me a lot of BC2.
God, I hate Railroads. Worst map in bf3. Also 400% sun on RU side.
ok i made an user for battlefield 2142 ages ago, i have like 20 users on there yet only one is the right one how do i tell which one to use
Go find yourself on a 2142 stats site.
It's crazy to play Bad Company 2 because almost every single map is great, I don't even care what map a server has anymore because they're all so good.
Go find yourself on a 2142 stats site.
ok i did but it says that my cd key has already been registered with another account i have bf 2142 on origin if thats any help
http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield-4 Get your "I was there" Dog tag now!
Battlefield 3.1. Knew it.
ok i did but it says that my cd key has already been registered with another account i have bf 2142 on origin if thats any help
Alright. Did you do the thing mentioned several pages ago about selecting USA on something and then trying Origin support chat? flashgoogle suggests either the key was stolen from the account... OR you need to use the email originally used when you registered the account.
They have to maintain that "artistic integrity".
I'm pissed that such an easy way to make BF4 seem less like an expansion would be to just get rid of the color-grading
http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield-4 Get your "I was there" Dog tag now!
It says I got it, but it isn't showing up on Battlelog
you know i think battlefield 4 might have something to do with rain. i dunno, just a thought.
you know i think battlefield 4 might have something to do with rain. i dunno, just a thought.
Didn't they already say that there would be dynamic weather? [editline]20th March 2013[/editline] It's probably just a rumour actually
Alright. OR you need to use the email originally used when you registered the account.
yeah i tried that but how do you do that shit i mean how do you enter an email in the bf2142 startup anyone else please launch bf2142 and tell me what you use to log in if anyone trusts me they can give me their login and password and i can see if that works for me or if EA has just screwed my account up
The ACW-R is the first carbine to not make me feel the urge to uninstall the game and smash my computer with a hammer. [editline]20th March 2013[/editline]
you know i think battlefield 4 might have something to do with rain. i dunno, just a thought.
You'll have to unlock a paper towel specialization that allows you to wipe the rain off your glasses.
It would be awesome if the dynamic weather rumors were true!
Didn't they already say that there would be dynamic weather? [editline]20th March 2013[/editline] It's probably just a rumour actually
it's a joke because almost every picture released of battlefield 4 has rain.
The ACW-R is the first carbine to not make me feel the urge to uninstall the game and smash my computer with a hammer.
you must seriously suck at the game very very hard like seriously hard
it's a joke because almost every picture released of battlefield 4 has rain.
Gee thanks I almost didn't understand your post
I honestly don't see how dynamic weather would benefit Battlefield maps. In my opinion it would just add too many random variables that would become frustrating. Like if clouds roll over, then you suddenly can't check a camp spot because of the shadows obscuring it. Or if the clouds break which will benefit one team and detriment the other by the sun blinding one of them. Let's say heavy snow hits, then you've got no visibility, and your camouflage becomes useless because your camo that was suited for a dark forest now stands out against all the snow. And if it's dynamic weather, is it really going to have any other effect other than eye candy? If it rains, will vehicles handle differently? Will players get stuck in the mud? Will roads become dangerous to drive on because they're slippy? Will my optics start to steam up (time for ironsights yo)?
I hope I could get an Overpowered,ultra-mega omega increible awesom-0 stupid amazing expensive high PC to play BF4 with good FPS at medium settings.

The whole concept of dynamic multiplayer maps is something that I'd love to see implemented and changing up the weather from time to time is a great way of forcing you to revise your tactics. Imagine running into a sandstorm and having no more than 5 feet visible in front of you? Talk about tense.

If they move towards a tactical shooter model, then by all means I'm for it. Their current model seems to cater towards competitive play, and random weather would add variables that would break any sort of balance. If DICE move towards the tactical model, where balancing is based on real life, then I think it'd work. Think of it like CS, it's also a competitive shooter. Tournaments remove the fancy effects to allow the best competitive environment. Likewise look at the Arma series, it's an almost-simulator, which has dynamic weather. As it stands, I don't think dynamic weather in BF is appropriate.

So if you go to battlefield.com and log in you get a dogtag and you get to see some artwork that looks the same as BF3's. [editline]21st March 2013[/editline] [t]http://i.imm.io/10431.png[/t] Apologies, I didn't know this was late, I read every post in the thread but didn't recall seeing anything about this.
