I liked it, just those parrots drive me insane
It's very fun, can't wait for more classes.
It's good, but I've come to a conclusion of... Pirates should be nerfed (Particularly Skirmisher). Knights should be buffed. Vikings are fine.
Only problem I have with the game is that Archers no longer (they use to) have a significant slow-down with a drawn back arrow. It kept them from backtracking and spamming. Also, Skirmishers, and even to an extent Gestiers, run just a smidge too fast. If either gets the grail, they can effectively run from everyone else. Oh, and some of the specials could use a little tweaking too. Some are ridiculously strong, others are next to useless. Other than that, great game. The lag compensation is a bit iffy, but if you get use to it, it's good fun.
PVK2 > Age of Chivalry
PVK2 > Age of Chivalry
So true. Pirates might need a downgrade in run/strike speed. I've dominated the other teams with the holy grail because we killed the others way too fast, and they kept missing because we jumped aside before they could strike. Or they just sucked.
The update today just made a bunch of pirate fixes, mostly in decreasing damage and increasing the damage requirement for the skirmisher special (which is a comeplete pain in the ass by the way). In any case, I love PVK2, it's always fun to play, even if the teams are a little unbalanced.
Age of Chivarly is way better if hit a guy in head with an arrow or Javelin they fucking die PVK2 Hit in head with anything lose 1/15 of your armor
If I could play it on this shitty laptop, then yes, it would be an awesome game.
It's fun if you know how to play it. It's all about timing. Also if you're pissed off by archers, just rush at them with a sword, they can't fight back.
I proudly played PVK1 when no one knew about it and it was much funner than PVKII, I think PVKII will be funner when they get all the classes in.
It's alright.
Its fun, but the knights could use an upgrade, or a third class. There's no middle ground like the Vikings, you're either the heavy fighter or the light ranged guy.
I name'd my parrot to Perseen Raiskaaja. It means Ass/Butt/Arse Raper/Rapist.
It's fun. The new 2.3 patch is a LOT more polished than 2.2. Just keep at it and you'll get better, most of the 'good' meter is acquired just by playing and getting a sense of what to do when. The basic swordplay will come to you, if it doesn't just ask the players they're usually nice. Common sense plays a huge part: for example, rushing into the enemy team without your allies is stupid. Despite how dumb that sounds, it's the reason most of the CS border hoppers start whining and quit. It's funny, too.
Awesome!
Well the game is pretty good. But it somehow feels like the only thing you do is rush at the enemy and mash Mouse1
This is probably the biggest falsehood about the game. The combat system is quite deep. Taking an hour or two to read and practice the blocking/attacking system can take you from an average button masher to an unstoppable force. Few people, I've found, actually defend themselves when attacked. Those that do, don't really know what they're doing. Taking advantage of this, I can easily take on quite a few people, parrying each attack, and slaying them before they know what happened.
Why are people acting like it just came out? It's been out for like years now. What took you guys so long?
I played this game today. Oh my GOD it is amazing. I can't pick a favorite class, even!
I don't know why people are so stubborn about trying it. It's FREE, do you honestly lose anything by trying it?
Precious bandwidth.

One of the best mods around there. It's fun when you get in a solo fight with someone who is close combat and youre close combat too.
One of the best mods around there. It's fun when you get in a solo fight with someone who is close combat and youre close combat too.
Agree and that freaking parrot is epic.
When I first started playing that parrot was so damn irritating. Now it's my best friend named "lol u mad?"
It's amazing. [editline]03:08PM[/editline] Just a Flesh Wound.
You filthly curr I'LL FEAST ON YOUR BONES! VALHALLA! Stow yer whining, y'all a bunch o' furry girls!
M1 is good, for newbies Seriously, remove auto-parry on option then parry those attack yourself, generally they go w+m1 so you just do s+m2 and you parry them, giving you enough time to do a fully charged attack. Practice on Large weapon first, then you can try to parry those f*cking skirmishers. My 2 parrot name: "rrerr" or "The Ambiguously Gay Duo"
Kegs need to do team damage on pirates.
Kegs need to do team damage on pirates.
WAY too much griefing potential.
I named my parrot Big Digger Nick. It's a shame people don't change the names. I see Polly everywhere.
I named my parrot AaAARRRaggffJFGGaa
