I hope the AN-94 gets the correct 1800 RPM burst fire but still retain full auto. It's the only thing I would ever pick the AN over the AK for.

That would mean that the Abakan's full auto fire would also be 1800 RPM, which is untrue of its real life counter part. The only way to capture the Abakan's true 1800 RPM burst would be to make all Abakans in the game only fire in that 2 round burst or make a custom Abakan (quest reward or something) that fires only in the 2 round 1800 RPM burst.

I've had all three games for almost a year and a half and haven't played it yet. Now I feel bad. This shit (SoC) is fucking incredible. I took someones advice and started playing at Master and its great. I love how the game doesn't hold your hands at all its just: Oh you're dead, again. Now I'm exercising caution and restraint instead of going in guns blazing. I do have a question though, do sniper rifles exist and where can I find some? I've just finished the mission where you take the military papers from the building. Also what the fuck was the monster inside the sewer deal? Like holy fuck it would just kill me in one go. It seemed like it was mind-controlling me, like grabbing me and pulling me 50ft without moving me, and causing damage and making me see double. It'd rape my ass in approximate 2 seconds.

Yes. There are Dragunov and Vintorez for you to use. They will spawn randomly, either in later game or on some master stalkers. That is a controller. It attacks your mind instead (that pulling). And can use melee moves.

Wow thats fucking awesome. I went on a mission to kill a master stalker and got sidetracked by some Duty/Freedom guys. A squad of Duty guys wanted me to kill a Freedom sniper to start an assault on the Freedom base. I killed the sniper and got a Dragunov for free! After the attack was over (the Duty guys lost) I made about 60k selling all of their dead people's guns and equipment back to the Freedom guys. Now I've got a Sig Sauer with 200 rounds, a Dragunov with 45 rounds and an H&K G36 with about 350 rounds. That brings my cash vault up to 80k too. Anyways when I went back to hunt the master stalker, I found him in a small house by a fire playing his guitar. You have no idea how conflicted I felt about this. I sat next to him and listened to him play for a while and then got up and stood behind him, took out my sidearm and reluctantly put 2 rounds in his head. Okay guys, I'm starting some roleplaying now. I still feel bad over killing that guy so my stalker has gone schizophrenic. By day he's an everyday stalker, doing quests and being a good, chill guy. By night he's a paranoid serial killer, crawling around in the dark, calling himself "The Campfire Killer". Because of his emotional scarring and guilt over ending that stalker's life he feels others are unworthy of the simply joys in life such as feeling secure by a campfire at night, listening to music and chatting with your fellow stalkers. For this reason he hunts stalker camps and kills all who are relaxing by campfires in total silence and darkness. Utilizing night vision and silenced weaponry, he prowls The Zone searching for the warm glows of camps in the night until the sun rises.
