His accomplice, yours truly, only managed to nab a sole kill from his rampage. He walked too close to an exploding faggot and perished with the pretender. I managed to salvage his god cannon and set out to find a comrade to replace my heart-breakingly close former bodyguard. This was when I discovered my adorable "little" friend, Erkki. He doesn't like mercenaries, so I walked him over to the mercenaries compound. He will...probably go on a devastating rampage and slaughter everything in their base, so I will stream it right now for those that are interested.

Things it takes from LURK are weapon textures, animations and balances. Plus the inventory textures and icons.

When you start the game, you'll be given the option to put in a name for your character and choose the faction you'll spawn as.
Then you'll spawn in their base and can do a bunch of small quests for the faction leader and trade with their trader.

The Zone is open from the start and stalkers will move rather freely between levels (more level changers also) so you can run into much more unexpected spawns or NPC movement than before.
For example it's possible to encounter bandits at Yantar or Duty moving to Agroprom and so forth.

Similarities to AMK (from off the top of my head) :

You can now sleep in the mod, using either bedrolls or special beds that are found around the Zone.
NPCs can loot bodies (this can sometimes lead to death trains when an NPC gets killed by an anomaly and there's ten stalkers following him to the meat grinder in a conga line)

Find a (preferably tall) object/rock, jump on it. Rocks should be better.

I remember slowly nudging bullet on to a rock so he wouldn't get killed by rodents until I finished his rescue mission. It's been awhile since I last played so I've forgotten the majority of things I learned.

I'm a little peeved, forgive me. All too often people come along and want to help but never commit proper time to things, always have other things to do that are more important (but are always playing games) and almost never produce anything.
