I just played a couple of hours of stalker:SoC in the past two days
I went past the sewer, and jesus fucking christ what are those invisible, fast and powerful monsters that look like a humanized Cthulhu?

European Extreme. No saves, 1/4 health, extra damage, being caught is automatic game over, limited supplies, food, weapons, ammo, and higher chances to become injured from an attack.

I hate anomalies
I'm having this wierd effect in AMK Sidorovich. I finished the Agroprom mission and went back to Cordon first instead of the Bar, and my screen just starts tweeking out like I'm drunk, and this sound plays like the ones you hear near the Brain Scorcher. It got progressively worse and more frequent so I reloaded a save at the beginning of the level and just went up to the Bar to turn in the documents. I ran back to Cordon and the same thing started happening. Is there a controller hidden underground or should I just uninstall STALKER and exorcise my computer?
Also it only happens at the rookie camp, and nowhere else in Cordon. I can dick around all day there but if I go to the camp it starts happening.

Hardly any. Most of the total overhaul mods don't change the storyline, only adding a fucktons of contents.
Is there any polished mod for CoP? I really dislike when somethings unpolished.
One of the reasons I love redux.
Had very few crashes when I played SGM 2.1, if not any.
Or I was just lucky enough.

Great A-Life and A.I upgrade that keeps gameplay interesting while still remaining vanilla in a lot of aspects. Though you might want to try and merge it with S.A.D.I.S.T. or something to produce a more challenging economy.

I seem to accidentally have gotten CoP's DX9 SSAO to work in SoC...
(accidentally meaning I've been fucking with it for the past 3 hours)
However I cannot get HBAO working for the life of me, I'm assuming because I'm missing some depth info from the engine. I'll play with it more tomorrow.
And I'm not sure if jittering is working either, so its kind of hard-edged. But it already does look better than the current implementation of SSAO based on the old Clear Sky build 3120 leak we've been using for-fucking-ever.
