Are there like fifty thousand versions of AMK one only one working one like it is with the soup or is it simpler? I'd like to give it another try. I remember it being awesome.
The reason there are fifty thousand versions of AMK is because it is used as a base for a lot of mods along with OL 2.2 and other common base mods.
Latest version is AMK 2.0 Devolution which is discontinued but released for CoP and for SoC it's v1.4.
So I go 20 feet into the lab, find a room full of boxes and a ball of fire floating around. I remembered poltergeists and started shooting at it. Shot at least 4 full mags before i gave up and started walking out o the room when suddenly a snork popped out and killed me.
This game can be such a piece of dick sometimes but I love it.
I would not mind getting shot by oreos. Fucking delicious

After using pistols for a few minutes in Redux, I immediately appreciate and them, epsecially the ones that use .45 ACP rounds.
One thing is their shooting animation isn't fixed yet..

There's not too much of an art in telling Polter/Pyrogeists from their anomalous equivalents, fortunately. If it bleeds, you can kill it.
When I first got to the X-8 lab in STALKER, I had no idea what the hell to shoot. Had to google it.
would people be interested if I streamed playing STALKER CoP (vanilla)? I have never finished it, by the way.

Grigorovich is a silent asshole. Stalker is "frozen", not "dead".
GSC are in good connection with Dezowave. If Lost Alpha will be good and well polished they will take the guys with 'em and fund the project to release it on Steam as a complete Stalker game.

I heard that if its sold on Steam, unless dezowave opt to become part of the company they won't get any cut out of it

What they really mean is that they will sue for not asking for the right to make a stand-alone game of their copyrighted franchise.
And then a week later they'll release a new terribly made S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that'll be the laughing stock of the entire fandom.
