What do you guys think of this? An interior ambiance I made for buildings I designate as "industrial" for LURK 1.2.
I've got it working great in-game. I can make a vid and post it later.
Wait - you have different ambience for certain interiors during rain ?
That's seriously amazing and I feel it's going to provide a huge boost to the general atmosphere.

Yea, with and without rain. Here is "industrial" during a rain storm. These are two buildings in Cordon that I have designated as "industrial." See those green boxes? Some of them are used by GSC (the ones that spill outside the buildings) for other purposes, but I went and placed new ones to perfectly fit the interior of every building. Those boxes allow me to attach logic that can control audio based on whatever my scripting capabilities allow.
Here is a quick video test I made. Pardon the annoying military asshole who shot at me and the low anomaly buzz. Point being, you walk into a space, the audio triggers, you leave the space, it stops and goes back to the outdoor audio. When it rains, it switches to the rain variant. Video will be up in 10min.

Is there any sleeping bad mini-mod for Clear Sky SRP 1.0.1?
Is there any sleeping bad mini-mod for Clear Sky SRP 1.0.1?
There's ATM Sleeping Bag Mod that's included in the same "Start Pack" as SRP 1.0.1. Haven't tested if it works but it seems like your best bet :

I'm rather excited to go inside of tunnels now.
What is so bad about Misery? It seems everyone on this thread hates every mod ever created for Stalker.
It seems everyone on this thread hates every mod ever created for Stalker.
I don't think so. People love mods such as Redux for CoP, LURK for SoC, DMM for both CoP and SoC, TFW or CS,.. basically we love well made mods that offers richer, better gameplay.
MISERY isn't really that bad. The mod's devs just try too hard to dish out bad promotional materials that "most" of the audiences like.
I thought you guys hated Redux.
I thought you guys hated Redux.
Some, maybe.
But me? I love it to death.
I thought you guys hated Redux.
I really like it, a very fun mod.
I thought you guys hated Redux.
Not so loud! Beacon'll hear!
did someone say redux
[editline]2nd March 2013[/editline]
my redux alarm went off
I just read SRP 1.0.1'S ReadMe and it didn't say anything about weapons ballistic fixes (enemies still invulnerable when they writhe from gunshots + when doing specified animations)
[editline]2nd March 2013[/editline]
Any fix for this issue? I loaded 2 buckshots on one bandits at point blank range and he just one-hit-kill me back with his PMm/Shotgun.
Did you guys hate Complete?

TFW only got past the bloodsucker problem by coding a new monster that behaves mostly the same.

Play CoP.
Did you guys hate Complete?
We don't like it, for the most part. Then some will hate it.
It breaks its own promise is what makes most of us angry. Other than that it is a decent mod merge.
I get that this isn't helpful, but as Doom said, you can't mod the invulnerability out.
Did you guys hate Complete?
Overhyped, inefficient and quite a bit easier than vanilla even. The mod itself is not aggravatingly terrible, but the excessive hype behind it is nauseating.
One can get better results by slapping Argus textures/Absolute ______ and an appropriate weather mod over a good mod installation.

It's just the case of shotguns being completely shit in Clear Sky with the exception of the TOZ - all bullet weapons, including even the Makarov kill bandits reliably in 6-8 bodyshots. The military grunts at the Cordon Car Park and the northern checkpoint go down in 5-10 shots of 5.45x39.
SRP in and itself doesn't seem to change the ballistics but karstux ironsights fix makes all guns ~10% more accurate.
Aaaand that wraps up another session of STALKER PnP. Portals, deserts and everyone confused.
Next time Ikiviher and Charon's merry bunch of Monolithian hardasses team up to get some monster fighting going on. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend", and guaranteed bro moments incoming. Will Conrad's jealousy go on overdrive once he learns of this? Find out in the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z!

Complete has very good publicity. It was the first mod I played and I used it a lot whenever I needed a screenshot of a particular character, scene or location. However, later I got educated. Education means, among else, to stop wetting your pants. In my case it was the opposite when I saw the more serious mods and started to wet my pants.
I also liked Misery as far as the atmosphere goes. But I quit playing it because the colors always made me want chocolate.
[editline]3rd March 2013[/editline]
Oh btw. You want me to tell you about the lawsuit or should we only think of what's beautiful about the Zone.
is there an update in the case? was wondering what was going on recently

Ugh.
Having to cart around meat to go and get it cooked sounds like it's gonna become a huge waste of time.
It's like they're trying to engineer all the fun out of the game.

I think it's a logical extension of survival mechanics, a solution to the paucity of food in 1.1, and with any luck it'll make fighting mutants not a total waste of time too.
