No, but you need not worry. It's just stalker physics at work

The Mechanic in Duty base ran downstairs, stood in the center of the room, and then floated upwards.
How did he even get out of his shop in the first place?
;39807693']Radiation reducing artifacts were always the best artifacts in the game since they neutralized a danger that is in every single map of the game.
I always carried an extra one over what I needed to fuel my other artifacts. Typically I'd have something like -8/sec and +7/sec with my slots full, and occasionally you come across some particularly nasty fields. I always had one backup in case I needed to hemorrhage radiation more than I needed health regen and whatnot.

What mod is this?
Shamelessly stolen from a poster in /vg/'s STALKER General.

I've finally done it. Thanks to the artifact system in LURK 1.05, I have made myself almost completely impervious to any type of damage. Bullets heal me, mutants heal me, and every type of anomaly heals me. But like any final boss, I am not without my weaknesses. Explosions still do 20% damage and being exposed to radiation forces me to take off my precious artifacts.
All artifacts except 5 gravis were acquired without cheating, the exceptions coming from the fact that I was too impatient for certain quests to respawn.
Now, I'm off to CNPP with only my trusty knife.
Good hunting, stalker.
Loner has spoken.
Yo,
I've read the replies on the new FP thread, yes I do lurk a lot.
This is gonna be a long ass reply, so bear with me:

@Beac
I know everyone's entiteled to their own rightful opinions, but still.. You couldve taken the other approach saying you dislike the mod or give tips on how to improve stuff, over on skype. Things like:"Hey loner, imho misery exegarrates the brown a bit and people start to bugg themselves to it, i'd suggest to tone it down a notch" or something along these lines. If you really know me, you'd know i'd never get mad or angry about such a reply, hell, i'd change the CSS immediately if you said something like that I still look up to you, you've got some madman like skills and this aspect i'll never loose respect for. So, no hard feelings bruh.
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Araknid
We did, trust me on this aspect. And don't worry, i'm not someone who thinks bad-mouthing is a sin or something. lol
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Garik
I actually am 17 c: just turned 17 on the 17th of january, this is me:

Ye... ugly mirror shots ftw
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Doneeh
Thanks! ... i guess? You're a funny guy, lolz. And not really popular, i just like to take the iniatife in some sitautions like these, reach out to you guys instead of lurking in the shadows doing nothing.
-------------------------------------------------------------
@[Green]
I don't mind it, just like with misery itself, there will always be that one person who dislikes it just for the fact he or she can dislike it. Trying to make everyone my friend has been a painful journey for me so i just act nice to everyone and see who reverts nice back to me, if not, ill cut the contact and move on with my life c: precious time you'd otherwise be using effeciently
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Garik
Yeah... (C) lol i just think it looks professional but i end up leaving it out lately, just because of the fact someone might already copyrighted this very name and sue my ass lol
-------------------------------------------------------------
@bobsynergy
Thanks for the nice reaction man but do mind, those are send in shots, not representative of the stand alone mod. The first shot's from majorsofts LEGENDARY and the second another mod i cant recall the name of. Could be both of legendary
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Garik
I can see your point with textures not profiding anything new, gameplay wise. But aestetically wise it does provide some people, including myself, that edge of playing it or not playing it, because it looks outdated. With these textures, it doesn't and the "vibe" is really different. But I wont force you to like it or test it, just sharing my vision
-------------------------------------------------------------
@M.Ciaster
Mine does not, thanks to the wonderful Cromm Cruac
-------------------------------------------------------------
@DigitalyShane
Ill send it to the team, i might modify it a bit to make it sound less ... direct-ish
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Muukkis
Same goes for LURK, albeit my vision on weapon renders is totally different. I actually love updates that have anything to do with the mod, direct or indirect. Updates like the ones on SMP2.5's page, those i dislike. That's just spammy IMHO. (posting drawn art, a screen full of repetitive mouse icons etc.) Doesn't really provide anything
Also, about the game changers...there's hell of a lot more, but we're discrete with content. We only show what's done and has been implanted and fully tested.
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Arakid
Fans over-hyping misery is only because of the fact it's one of the most active mods for CoP along with Redux, SGM and AMK + some others. And, with a mainpage like that it just attracts people i guess, there's been countless times magazines covered misery and i always thought to myself:"How'd they find us o.o?"
For the fans... idk, everyone's different. Some might tone it down a notch, making their names something with misery in it and bashing everyone who's against the mod, but i have no power over them. I usually let the discussions go till it begins to bother me (as in delete comments because of moddbs amazingly good commenting system <3) /not
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Lijitsu
I'm indeed still in school, my second to last year, scientific level schooling or something. Horrible translation from dutch, but it's called "VWO" "Voortgezet Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs"
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Carlito
That made me lol
Also, there are 19 individuals working on misery atm, every day, excluding me as i have to focus on school a bit and PRZ2 due to high demand of green for misery lol
I'm working on some nice things, including higher res. terrain textures (the whole terrain, not individual)
-------------------------------------------------------------
@Lyoko774
As i said before, those aren't shots of the mod installed on top of a vanilla stalker install, these are:

Well, that's it for today. Hope this clears things up, and greetz to everyone on the forums bro.
Also on that "Fans' reactions matter", his opinion was a mixed.
welp
Turns out loner seems to be a pretty cool guy.
If you read this, Loner, I apologise for badmouthing you and all that
so is the rpg-7 in cop useful for anything
I've found it but I want to know if there's literally any enemy in the game that's worth firing an rpg at.
Tushkano

It's a fun way to complete the intermittent psi-emissions quest.

I never found a reason, but then again I never found a reason to use an RPG in either of the other games. Except because it was funny.

Chimera hunting is much easier.

Cheeki breeki some poor bandit
nice of loner to address everyone like that
since he's not on skype right now I'll reply here (but i'm gonna message him on skype too)
i don't think I've ever said I dislike the mod. i'm not personally a fan of the brown/gritty style or whatever but that's personal choice so it's cool, some people like it and that's fine. all i said was some of the promotional material isn't great, since it doesn't really actually show the mod's features.
anyways I'm sorry if I offended you or anything, i didn't mean to do that, and I'm flattered you look up to me like that, it's humbling. let's be buds again <3
What mod is this?
This is vanilla Clear Sky
Well, at least he's being active on many STALKER communities. Establishing good feedback channels between dev and community is highly important for the success of the final product.
Chimera hunting is much easier.
Towing around an automatic eliminator is a considerably better option when it comes to chimera hunting imo. I'd say that the RPGs are more necessary for pseudogiants and all the hunkered down hostile NPCs in Pripyat; mercs are much easier to kill with an RPG.
Also all that Loner1 talk is pretty neat of him to do, makes him all the more positive regarding that on my end.
That big post up there of Loner's replies made me smile. I love seeing modders respecting eachother like this.
Okay he's a bro.
Honestly, I don't really hate graphic mods that much, they can be really nice and I remember those really contrastful sunsets in the old L.U.R.K, they looked so awesome, my eyes felt glued to the screen when i watched them.
This is vanilla Clear Sky
I really want to believe it, but no it's not. You can already tell it by looking at how he's holding a flashlight, which does not available for the player across all 3 games.
It's smrter, and the flashlight is a grenade that illuminates shit which is dumb as balls.
It's smrter, and the flashlight is a grenade that illuminates shit which is dumb as balls.
SMRTR also replaces the bolt with throwing knives. They're so underwhelming that it takes a real effort to actually kill someone with them.

NPCs levitating through floors and ending in places they're not supposed to be at isn't an everyday occurrence but it's something that happens rather regularly in the games.
