Depends on what you like playing, do you like heavies, mediums, Tds or lights? IS8 apparently people complain of lack of armour.

The IS-8 is a medium-heavy (like most of the line), as such it doesn't have a massive amount of armor, however it's side skirts eat everything, the turret is hard to pen as well, not to mention it's quick (for a heavy).
That said, it's gun is really nice and it's generally an all around flexible tank.
So, if you're looking for a true heavy tank, then the IS-8 isn't likely the tank for you, but if you liked the IS-3, then the IS-8 is just a better IS-3 in every regard.

I just saw the world of tanks apparel. The let's go camping shirt actually looks pretty cool.
One thing I love about the 88 PaK 43 is that it manages to pull off lucky shots a lot of the time. Halfway across the map, while moving, into another moving enemy tank about to duck into cover lucky shots.
Is there a place one can watch Girls und Panzer?
Anyway rocking the PzKpfw IV and a Hetzer at the moment, going with the VK3601H next. Looking forward to the Panther.

Unless you somehow enjoy driving a not really fast brick of C4 that catches on fire every time a Frenchman with a baguette under his arm looks at it, the Panther will most likely not be a great experience for you.
The Tiger I is a really nice tank with the L/71, and although the Tiger II isn't my thing you might want to go down that line.

I hate Platooning with my friends sometimes. We have fun together as a group but I have to change the way I play to help out my buddies rather than be PRO MLG WIN THE GAME.
Also, then we get shit on by the matchmaker and get put with the absolute fucking [i]worst[/i] teammates imaginable, I swear the majority of games I've played in my AT-2, as a platoon of Tier 5s coincidentally, we've lost HORRIBLY. Once our lemming teammates die, glorious AT-2 can't handle getting swarmed by the non-retarded enemy team en masse.
Its a conspiracy, I swear.

Eugh. I want to enjoy the T32, but god damn the gun on it is crap compared to the cannons I'm used to having on my French tanks. Even the Tiger's gun is nicer to use...
I meant to agree with you, but I miss clicked. The hidden shitty accuracy on the gun it shares with the t29 is incredible. The m103 gun is a dream comparatively.
Oh my god, why did I buy the howitzer gun for my Matilda
30k down the drain.
On the flip side, the other gun upgrade is amazing.
