I will use this opportunity to point out that since Valve spoiled me with surprisingly good Source port on Linux, and native Unity3d being not all that good but still usable on Linux, I would hope for native Linux client by WG. Sadly, technical development never was their strongest side, and if somebody asked Serb, he would either ask what's Linux, or come with some very peppery way to insult all users of Linux. Furthermore, there's not even a Mac version either, so eh, fat chance.
The thing is: they have the manpower, they have the money and they have access to the code, but do they have a market for it? Unless Valve somehow kickstarts the market for Linux games (and make a god damn Red Hat client or something, I don't feel like touching ubuntu anymore), WG won't have any motivation to make it. aka not gonna happen and hope the WINE devs keep upgrading it.

I was forced to revert back to the Old renderer and usually play without the Extra Effects (hit smoke puffs) because the framerate is atrocious otherwise, and have usually ~30-40fps, albeit at 1920x1080 with maxed models and textures and rendering range. Meanwhile I can play native source games with everything ever maxed and 8x FSAA and I don't think I drop under 60 fps. I am wondering if people get WoT run any better under Wine.

Ammorack right behind the hull. Genious.

Between the hundreds of driver crashes, I only managed to squeeze out a few dozen FPS from TF2 with a Q9400 and a HD4870. I still need to try it on my new desktop, but my hard drive is getting clicky so I'll abusing it with a format. [editline]20th March 2013[/editline]
Ammorack right behind the hull. Genious.
Well it makes a whole lot of sense IRL since it's the strongest part of the god damn tank. Just like fuel tanks. No, diesel fuel doesn't usually catch on fire when hit by a shell WG, its flashpoint is waaay too high for that to happen reliably nevermind every god damn time my chinatonk is hit in the front.
Some of the AMX French tanks also store ammo around the driver and rely on the hull for maximum protection. You also see old Soviet T-72's and 62's that have all their shells stored right at the bottom which didn't really help much if you get hit from the sides. Also
Honestly a tank like the T-100 is what you should expect for a tier 10 light. The closest thing we have right now for a tier 10 light is the batchat, and that is very effective.
[FPFP] has clan battles tonight. Be in mumble by 6:45EST if it is at all possible. I need to have as many people in mumble at that time as possible so I know what LZ to put us on.
[editline]20th March 2013[/editline]
If you're in [FP] and you have a Tier 9 or 10, or a Tier 7 arty, and you want to participate in tournaments, CW, and TCs, then leave and join [FPFP] We have a number of people who have left [FP] but have not yet joined [FPFP], c'mon guys.
http://worldoftanks.com/community/clans/1000008484-FPFP/
can't attend clan wars tonight, sick with the flu or some other shit thats making cough up blood sorry
uh the flu doesnt make you cough up blood, internal bleeding does you might want to consider getting that checked out lol
If I remember correctly, if it is a bad enough flu or even a really bad cold, it can make you cough up a bit of blood mixed with all of the other shit. Sort of like when you get a cold with a bad enough cough that it hurts. If it is only blood though, or a lot of it, go get it checked out.

Oh god imagine being that tank driver for 12 hours.
The most obvious blood-caughing thing that comes to my mind is Tuberculosis, but you would be really unlucky to catch that anywhere in developed world. Either way, if you haven't yet, go see a doc.
KV-1S + 122mm D-2-5T + ammorack damage = shit.
can't attend clan wars tonight, sick with the flu or some other shit thats making cough up blood sorry
the zombie invasion has begun

There is no way I can make it to clan battles tonight or till Friday-Saturday. This borrowed laptop cannot play World of Tanks at all. I will be one hundred percent ready to go when I get my old laptop is set up once I get back home (just got the HDD replaced). I really do feel bad, but there was no way of knowing how long it would take them to ship it back to me. It was expected to come Monday, but it hasn't even made it back yet.
So FORGE dudes are running a stream (saw them post about it while fucking about on the forums). Apparently they're giving out "free codes". Not hard to pay 1/10th attention while grinding tanks. Result: (Everybody else is slow)
what stream?
what stream?
This one it seems. http://www.twitch.tv/fulcrumtv

Just as im about to give up on my chances on getting a code from that stream. IT POPS UP I ENTER IT. SUCCESFUL! Awwww yeah, that free 7 days premium and 1k gold.
