Eh I'd rather wait for the AMX 30. The Leopard is likely to receive the whole "German engineering is a lie and the T-54 is the best tank ever no questions" treatment like the M48 did.
French tanks seem to be SerB's pet project so they tend to be decent in the higher tiers.

I really believe it would be hard to fuck with the Leopard I because its not a fucking madeup/blueprint only tank. However, so was the M48.

They went with the slowest Patton variant that also had the 90mm as its factory gun, I guess they found some German archives that mentioned a Leopard with a lesser engine or maybe the early cast turret has less depression than the late one. Who knows, they might even artificially fuck it up with soft stats.

Hey Zombii, heads up, but once FPFP is formed and we become CW active, we should probably start talking diplomacy with a few other clans - afaik both NTR and TAG have expressed at least minor interest in being allied with us, so yeah.

Unfortunately TAG isn't very good (Clan WN6 698, Eff 850) and NTR is an Africa clan. (Although Africa might be a good place to start. Get familiar with CW tactics, check attendance, etc.)

Personally I'd rather we start in Africa and get a handle on things - repeatedly landing on Europe and getting thrown out the day after hasn't exactly worked out very well so far. It's probably in our best interest to start out slow and try to acquire a permanent place on the map before just straight jumping into the deep end of the pool. And yeah, TAG's statistics aren't exactly the best, but they do try to participate in CW, and their pool of members is much larger than FPFP's pool of members is going to be - I think there's some mutual benefit there if we can get on the map simultaneously.

Hmm yeah, fucking tier 9.
Tier 8 arty as a normal occurrence sounds really fun. And then the crippling ammo and repair bills. And then when you start obsessing about winning, things get far worse than they were before.
The enemy team had 3 marders positioned under the bridge in port. We lost too many tanks and couldnt cap in time before the battle time expired.

I'm sure NTR wouldn't mind some help in their war against KING which has lasted for nearly a month now. The land around there isn't as awful as some other parts of Africa too

I agree. Looks like they are boxed in pretty good by KING and KING3. I'm sure they would appreciate someone helping them cover their west.
Also, is -BC- actively attacking NTR? Because defending against 3 full clans surrounding them is something I wouldn't wish on a broke-dick dog. Even if those clans aren't that great.

Hard to tell, but it's likely because Eastern Al Wahat is so valuable. Even still, NTR has successfully held it for the past 4 days since they first obtained it. Based on eff/wn6 averages, NTR is the best clan down there, and with the help of FPFP (who would be at least as good as NTR) it would be pretty easy to win two clans on three with a strong alliance.

Yeah I figured NTR is better, but WOT labs is being pretty temperamental right now. I only got to look up the other clans.

KING isn't to be underestimated, their average stats may seem pretty bad, but their top players are very good - probably better than what we can expect to field. I reckon that if we landed in Africa, our best bet would be to land on KING3, map KING3 with NTR's help, convince QIN not to attack us, then have NTR deal with KING.

That's the "members" column. KING and KING3 both have 99 players, NTR has 81. Updated the table to make that easier to understand. Also the WN6 and Eff averages are only for players with a tier 10. The clan-wide averages are lower for all three clans.

I see, I know Zombii deleted his post above, but I went and checked FP's stats anyways - FP clan currently has 14 active members with at least 1 tier 10, and 2 members who haven't been online in 1-2 weeks who have at least 1 tier 10. Assuming all 20~ members who left for FPFP have tier 10s, we're looking at having 34-36 CW capable members.
