If you are smart and jump into trading you can make enough to pay the first month you play. I am not sure if anyone has tried to do it recently but there were several "rags to riches" experiments executed that took the starting 5k and turned it into almost a billion in 30 days.

I'm currently running level 3 missions in your typical phag fit Drake mission setup. At the moment I could jump up to level 4's, hell even level 5's because I've racked up enough standing with the Caldari. But I'll stick with level 3's until I can T2 fit a Raven or get a Nighthawk.
My question is, when do I start making some good, decent cash from Level 3's/ level 4's? Most of the loot I salvage is pretty much junk, but the loot from time to time is good. Am I doing something wrong? Took a long time to get the cash to T2 fit my Drake with rigs, so...I'm just curious when decent ISK starts rolling in.
I'm boasting a measly 6,225,000 Skillpoints. At this point though, I'm about able to run any level 3 mission with the drake with a few warps to station and back to heal up. But other than that, they've been a breeze. What's the average SP needed for a good outfit on level 4's? I could jump into a Raven with T2 cruises and drones, and have the drake as a backup with mostly T2 everything else, but like they say... "Don't fly what you can't afford to lose." I suppose though it would be more profitable and viable to rat in low-sec, though.
Imo, if you can fit a t2 drake, it should be more than enough to rape shit in (most) 4's, and you don't make any money on level 3's, but level 4's, especially angel and drone missions, fucking yummy :3:

So I just went salvaging in some random caldari system because I was bored, I usually reside in amarr, haven't been in caldari space other than jita in forever, and there was a helios, fitted with blasters, with a corpse in its cargo hold in the station I docked in, do I want to know?
