they want you to fill in a complete app anyways.
Um no. You drag them into your recruiting channel and talk with them and ask them any questions and then tell them to apply. Application says: "I talked to *insertnamehere*". Only CVA fags probably require full apps.

what have I done? either way, I got in.
http://gankbears.griefwatch.net/index.php?p=details&kill=1289 WHY?! God these people are retarded, she moved outside the force field while there were a ton of sniper BS's sieging, she got instapopped.
Felt like I had to write about my first PvP encounter, and where else to post it than Facepunch? (just wrote it, may contain typos and errors) When I started EVE, I was pretty unsure what to do. I decided to start mining, as it'd give me a little income, and it'd let me get some time to get familiar in space, and most importantly give me some time to decide. A week or so ago, I decided to go into some PvE. So I docked the hulk, and started to train for a Myrmidon. And when it was done, and fully fitted, I was walking on sunshine. It was just so awesome, in a fresh new battlecruiser, with nice blasters ripping through any shield or armor in its way. I spent the days doing PvE, getting up my security status and standings. It quickly got boring though. So I got a friend with me. So with him in his stabber, and me in my Myrm, we went into low sec to do some ratting. It went well, and we spent the evening just warping from asteroid field to asteroid field, constantly checking our scanners for other players. Some mill richer, and lots of salvaged goodies, we called it a night. That was yesterday, while I still had my myrmidon. Today I decided that I wanted to get into some PvP. I was getting tired with PvE - and once again decided to enter low sec, with another intention this time. I fitted a warp scrambler, made sure ship was repaired and drones were in the bay. And then I headed out into a .4 system. I made sure I had found one which was lightly populated, so that finding someone wouldn't be a challenge. I fiddled with the directional scanner, without finding much else than rats. Deciding I'd let the enemies come to me instead, I warped to a field and did some PvE. And then he came. Just as me, he was in a myrmidon. He warped in, used his MWD to get into range, before turning it off, scrambling me, getting out his drones, and let his blasters fire away. At once I felt my heart beat like fuck. I let my drones attack him instead, and without turning on my own scrambler, I fought back. The fight went on for a while, and other than the beginning, it was highly anti-climatic. That was before I realized he wasn't actively armor tanking, something which would mean I'd have a chance. I turned on my scrambler, and smiled as I realized how this was actually going very well. I had to do some timing with my two repairers, making sure I didn't blow my cap away - but eventually it got there, down to his hull. Having me webbed, he tried to make a run for it, and I was only a few seconds away from blowing his ship up - when it all changed. Another wyrm jumped in. And not only did he too warp scramble me - he freaking stole my first PvP kill. I actually raised my fist in anger, as I started to fire on him. I managed to get down his armor quite a bit, but with my already damaged myrmidon I had no chance. And to top it all off, I had forgot to stock up with enough ammo. Once again did I raise my fist in anger. I recalled my drones, turned off my repairers, and started to spam click warp. That bastard stole my first kill, and he blew my ship of. And to top it off, he had the balls to ask me to join his corp. I did not mind him killing me - the strongest survives, and if I wanted to stay safe I'd remain docked in a station. But the fact that he asked me to join his corp, made me pissed. I let him open a conversation with me, and prepared to the only thing I could now to bother him. I talked to him for, something between half an hour and 45 minutes, before I said "nothx" and closed the conversation. That was the only little damage I could do to him, and while it was not much, knowing I had wasted seconds of his life he'd never get back made me feel good. I also talked to the guy I managed to kill, and we did have a nice chat. As it is at the moment, I'm probably going to join his corp and continue with PvP in low sec. And that was my first PvP encounter. I feel awesome.
^ Very nice post man, it's always good to read about more people getting into PvP. I'm getting ready to go on a magical adventure to WH land and kill retards with Cyrex. I just have to jump a cane through two highsec systems, but that shouldn't be too hard. [editline]06:03PM[/editline] Cyrex vent is scaring me. hold me.

Alright, PvP rifter, passive armor tank. Debating bettween a Gyro or an Overdrive injector for the remaining low slot, ideas/opinions?
Alright, PvP rifter, passive armor tank. Debating bettween a Gyro or an Overdrive injector for the remaining low slot, ideas/opinions?
Personally I'd go with OI if your passive armor/slight speedtanking, Gyro won't help much if your DPS isn't decent to start with. I am now doing a 26 jump auto pilot trip to sell off 1.7mil Fernite Carbide, woo.

Gyro.
MAPC and damage rigs tbh
MAPC and damage rigs tbh
Listen to this man, he fucking knows his Rifters.
My first PvP experience wasn't quite so dramatic. Last Sunday, I went out on a PvP training op with my carebear PvE corp. We had a group of 5 cruisers and a tackler frig. Most of the trip was uneventful, but on the way back, a Tengu tried jumping us. He warped to us, and immediately began attacking. (We had been caught in a bubble, so it wasn't exactly difficult to find us right at that moment). We ended up killing him, which, considering that it was my first kill, is damn impressive to me. In all honesty, though, he shouldn't have engaged. That little group of cruisers had 2 Blackbirds and a Falcon.
Ill just post the whole fit, I think the DPS should be decent (I dont really know what "decent" is at this point :P ) : High: 150mm light autocannon (Fleet Phased Plasma) II x3 Malkuth RL (Phalanx) x1 Med: Warp Scrambler I Afterburner II Langour Drive Disruptor I Low: Damage Control II 400mm Reinforced Crystalline Carbonide plates (Gyrostab or Overdrive injector?) Rig: Small Ancillary Current Router I Empty rig slot x2
The way to do this fit would be something like this: [Rifter, thing] Micro Auxiliary Power Core I 400mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Damage Control II Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters 'Langour' Drive Disruptor I J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I 150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S 150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S 150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S whatever you want in the last high, rockets suck dick, use a neut Small Projectile Burst Aerator I Small Projectile Collision Accelerator I Small Projectile Collision Accelerator I In my opinion, the only reason to do a 400 r/t fit is to use trimarks/neut on it. If you want an overdrive, make a kiting fit. The only proper rifters are the 400m plate/neut fit, SAR/nos/200m plate, shield fit, and kiting fit. On the subject of nos or neut, nos on active tank, neut on everything else. [editline]08:07PM[/editline] http://www.rifterdrifter.com/rifter-pvp-guide/
Epic post, would read several more times.
We're sniping down a large true sansha pos, it gets boring :v: still faster than dealing with all those fucking neuts though.
We're sniping down a large true sansha pos, it gets boring :v: still faster than dealing with all those fucking neuts though.
You started at 1 est. Its almost 10 now.
We didn't start sniping at 1 est, and I haven't even seen you do anything yet. We started a few hours ago and we're getting more people in and it's almost 25% down in shields.

As I said, we didn't start attacking the pos itself until a few hours ago.

These guys thought they could kill us XD drones did all the work.
It's nice to see the goons wiped off the face of new eden. However, I would much rather see Delve divided by smaller alliances rather than one mega alliance.
And why is that?
Because the Goons are shite, and it'd be nice for a few smaller alliances to have a bit of territory each?
Because the Goons are shite, and it'd be nice for a few smaller alliances to have a bit of territory each?
It would also mean delve space would be easier to take, becuase you don't have to chew through 6000 people
Looks like steam has lost its 21 day trial?
As I said, we didn't start attacking the pos itself until a few hours ago.
Warp disruptors and the mods count as part of "the pos".
I'd like to see a bunch of smaller alliances manage to take a region and divide it up though. Goons are bad though, I don't complain on that point.
