How much DPS is considered fair/good for a drake to be able to passively tank according to EFT?

Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much. Kidding. The amount the Drake should be able to tank depends on if you're fitting for l3 or l4's. Obviously, you can lose some tank for more damage in l3's.

L3 or L4, I can run L3s with it fine, Haven't tried L4s with it.

Properly fit drake will be able to tank level 4s, however completing the missions with take longer than if you used a battleship.

Touché. I'm sure the loadout will be fine, but the more important thing is to stay aligned and watch out for ganks.
I build ships so the Hulk is a necessity. My skills aren't perfect but each strip miner 1 brings in 1110m3 every 180 seconds (3 minutes) and the Hulk fits three. Naturally, that is a lot of fucking ore. I will soon be building my own Battlecruisers... which is good, because I'm not the greatest at fighting and will probably go through a few Drakes in my time.
Still, it's quite likely you will make more money doing missions. Mineral prices have gone down quite a bit since I last played.
So a -10 just tried to kill our taranis in sarum prime, he was in a T2 fit domi, and used to be the CEO of a corp, I guess that's why that corp is closed now.
Also PJ you should totally get tuskies to join us in this, we have a contract to kill people in lowsec, they have dreads and carriers :v:
Just buy ore for building ships to sell, it isn't worth it mining it all yourself.

With decent skills you should make at least 5% per ship (usually more but w/e). As far as mining goes, the stuff you mine is not free, and if you get more form selling the ore than putting it in a ship then do that.

Yeah, our battleships kinda suck currently. The arty boost helped the tempest alot but everything else is pretty meteocre.
Just got a cap fleet dropped on my fleet, of like five battleships.
