Part of one of the bigger cities in the game, the blue thing in the middle is a pad that launches the player upwards and gives wings that allow it's user to glide as a way of getting around the open world. Also, a crashed spaceship in the distance, the blur effect and the night make it harder to see.

Bleeding out. The area is occupied by the "Chosen" you can see their drop-pod on the left and a bit of the incursion to the right. Also, the energy storm "melding" in the background.

How's your performance in the game? I can barely run it without using the taskmanager to change the affinity back and forth then setting the priority to High.

I don't have much stuttering or lag when I play, I can even stream it using their built-in twitchtv streaming option. You should post on the game's forums detailing your performance issues and what you do to help improve it, I'm sure the devs will try to resolve your issue, perhaps maybe even find something not working as intended on your part.

Am I the only one who thinks that ARMA 3 is really ugly? I mean it has a lot of cool tech but it's art direction is total shit.

The terrains are the only other piece of "art direction" the game has, which is also very realistic AND interesting. I'm not sure what there is to dislike if you are okay with the units and don't hate Greek terrain. The lighting and atmosphere is great, and the tech behind it is solid (if not well optimized right now).

imo it's the best faux realism game i've seen in a while
i don't really think a stylized graphics style would be good for arma 3

What are you talking about, nothing in the game is stylized in any way. "Make it look natural" isn't really much art direction to speak off. And I think it pulls off the naturalistic look pretty well

Yes. For some reason the files are loading ten times slower than the rest, or most of the time not loading at all. I'm dealing with a slow-ish connection atm so I have to let the pages load for a minute or so to look at everyone's pretty pictures. And then half of them are broken images and I'm sad because I wanted to see the pretty pictures.
