Man, I wish Skyrim was any fun to actually play so that I'd have reason to download this mod and play through it again. It looks so awesome.

How much would a first time player enjoy the game? My only experience with RPG's are JRPG's & Dragon Age.

You'd probably enjoy it. I think what killed it for a lot of people was being able to measure it up next to previous games in the series and all the hype and being disappointed by the wasted potential of it.
Skyrim is one of those games that's amazing when you first play it, but once you know the map and the general progression of the quests it loses some of it's appeal since it never really changes from character to character. Fortunately the PC modding community is pretty good, assuming you avoid the typical nexus mod.

it's definitely fun, don't listen to them spoilsports. Don't try to do everything on your first playthrough, have characters that focus on different aspects of gameplay like stealth, or run in and hit everything with a sword, and then try not to stray too far out of that. If you do that, then the next time you play through as a different kind of character, everything will be fairly new.

No, I don't think it's weird that you were surprised by it being there - all I said was I thought it was weird that you would think that the person who put it in the game was doing it to make sense.
Also given that there are plenty of games that have easter eggs that totally don't fit the tone of the game, I don't see why it's [I]so[/I] improbable for a game with a realistic setting to have a couple.

I never implied it being improbable, just unexpected. What I'm saying is that I don't expect easter eggs from a game I've played since beta (BF3) that never had any before (that I know of). So when I see something like that I don't expect it being there to be taken like a joke.
