A while ago they had a TF2 tournament of sorts, a few friends and I entered and it was without a doubt the worst tournament ever. The origanisation was the shittiest thing you can imagine and most of the people didn't actually get to play. I got disqualified because I questioned their profesionnalism in a forum post. :v:

That contest is a complete fucking joke. Wargaming's World of Tanks contests are less sketchy than that, and some of them have some pretty weird and lousy submissions that win quite a bit (Like mine from the Machinima contest, as an example) There's no way that was worth fucking 20,000 gold Brings my total up to 27,500 Gold for World of Tanks that I got for free. But it's really unfair to those who put some work and effort into it and get overlooked for something shitty

I had that happen once before way back in January 2012 while I was playing with my friend on caspian border, but I assumed they had fixed that by now. Still, it's a neat little glitch that almost never happens.
