I had that happen once before way back in January 2012 while I was playing with my friend on caspian border, but I assumed they had fixed that by now. Still, it's a neat little glitch that almost never happens.
Back in the beta, third person spectating of other or yourself, occured really often on Metro with very few players playing on the server. You could then use the EOD bot to release yourself from spectating someone else, and have every other player spectate your EOD bot instead. :v:
Just playing some BF3 when my squadmate spawned on me and all of a sudden I was in third person mode, except my camera was stuck to him, not myself.
I remember a couple of times when I played the entire UI disappeared, no hit markers, health or anything. I was on a hardcore server as well, and it felt like I was playing BF3: Project Reality. I tried my best not to die because it was pretty awesome, but I was on metro so I died within the minute

ArmA III is pretty rad. Now that all the DLC's out, started a new run of Mass Effect 3 to see how everything flows together. It's just a shame you have to use TexMod and wait 10 minutes for the game to start to make the textures bearable.
It's just a shame you have to use TexMod and wait 10 minutes for the game to start to make the textures bearable.
And an ENB to make it use the full color/brightness range :v: Still, the art design makes up for the lack of high res textures so I'm usually not too bothered by it.
After a couple of tries on the /r/hoggit server, finally achieved beautiful, beautiful success: considering they've tried many times in the past and I got it on my first try after forgetting to turn the fucking laser to "on" mode I'm happy

I love how 2k4 and Unreal 2 had fluid dynamics No specific water shader, just a cubemap reflection where the mesh is actually being deformed to simulate waves and the way a reflection would look on water that isn't still, and it can be dynamically deformed by projectiles and players too. Honestly I think it looks more like actual water then UT3's water shader.

Putting limits on what weapons could do they certainly could've made it look a lot nicer, and I recall seeing similar tech in a different UE3 demo anyway.

Its biggest flaw was that it looked like jelly most of the time. But it was really cool.

Game is Steel Armor: Blaze of War [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/mbbird/starter2013031617242.png[/t] An enemy unit moved on defenses I had left in the southern portion of the battlefield, so I decided to move on them with a single platoon of T-62s from the north, expecting to get there just in time for cleanup. [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/mbbird/starter2013031617412.png[/t] Little did I know the aggressor unit made nearly a battalion in number. My defending forces had been nearly completely wiped out by the time I got there, but not without dealing significant damage, leaving a damaged and disoriented enemy to finish off. [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/mbbird/starter2013031617421.png[/t] What I found was a mix of Ratel IFVs, their mechanized infantry, and Olifant tank support. They reacted slowly to my flanking force; not a single of their AFVs survived. As the vehicles burst and caught fire, their crews filtered out, often also on fire. Most of the men in the Ratels' infantry compartments not immediately killed in the penetration would survive though, and upon disembarking began moving up on my T-62s. Once all of the enemy vehicles had been either destroyed or abandoned, to conserve ammo, I ordered my men to refrain from firing the main gun, and for 10 minutes straight we fired on the advancing infantry with the coax. With such intense incoming small arms fire turning out to survey the battlefield from the hatch was out of the question, and the gunner optic could offer only a very small field of view; the sound of constant outgoing PK and DShK fire on my left and right flank was then comforting. [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/mbbird/starter2013031617562.png[/t] Any infantryman who got too close for the gunner to see would be quickly dispatched by the loader, popping out for a few moments to fire the DShK. A few individuals got close enough to fire their RPGs, in some cases with direct hits to the T-62s, however dealing only superficial damage to exterior devices; we got lucky. [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/mbbird/starter2013031617521.png[/t] It's a bad day to be a mechanized infantryman. I forgot how much I love this game. [editline]16th March 2013[/editline] Haha, good timing with Orkel's T-17 Tanky post.
That looks like so much fun
Whats the name of the game thats similar to that one except you are driving a t-34 with full interactable interior in wwii?
Whats the name of the game thats similar to that one except you are driving a t-34 with full interactable interior in wwii?
Made by the same guys was a game called Steel Fury iirc, which had a bunch of fully modeled Axis and Russian tanks. There's also T-34 vs Tiger (creative name, I know) made by another dev, but playable-wise that only has what the name implies.
