Looks great man good find.
There are only so many books in the Bible, we better start hunting them down. Let's go from Genesis to Revelations, just start listing them off.
That would take awhile:P
That would take awhile:P
I'm doing it right now. This one looks promising. Joshua 5:14 "Neither," he replied, "but as commander of the army of the LORD I have now come." Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, "What message does my Lord [a] have for his servant?"
Shit, Thats a good one. Where did you find it?
Shit, Thats a good one. Where did you find it?
Bible. Just go here http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/ and begin to type in books of the Bible.
Found a video! http://video.golem.de/games/2283/dust-514-ego-shooter-im-universum-von-eve-online-gamescom-2009.html
Seen it they need a better one.
And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four [and] twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
Revelations 5:14
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead
2nd Corinthians 5:14
Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Amen.
1st Peter 5:14
And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.
Micah 5:14
Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. 514 from hex -> dec = 1300 514 from dec -> hex = 202 Also 256+256+1+1=514 Teams, and commanders.
damn I was foiled
I'm interested in how they will show this in CCP Official Videos, after all, since successful Corporations are openly shown in Trailers, why not successful Mercenary Groups? That just gives me more reason to make sure we make a highly successful Group.

Added to the OP. So basically they said there'll be a very obvious difference between EVE and Dust players. Winning/losing will have a very real effect. RTS/Strategy elements prevalent in the game.
You'll need an xbox live subscription, which sucks.
I think whatever minimitar weapons whill look like one thing is certain: they will fire god damn fast, and be a bastard in close to mid ranges. And probably use solid slug rounds. Close/mid range Gallente will probably be long range and have decent mid range weaponry, snipers that use railgun technology, and maybe a combonation of energy based close/mid ranged weaponry Caldari will excel- my guess- is also at mid and close ranges, the common trooper, missiles, solid slugs Amarr obviously will be energy weapon noobs trying to emulate stargate. They will be annhiliated.
lolno. So wrong. Minmatar will be Medium and Extreme range. Inaccurate machine guns for mid-range and high caliber explosively propelled projectile sniper-rifles for extreme ranges most likely. They'll probably also have a fairly good anti-vehicle weapon(s). Their soldiers will more than likely have augmentations to make them a little more durable and fast than normal. Gallente will be close/medium range, more than likely focusing on a shotgun like weapon that uses the blaster technology on their ships. Their soldiers will more than likely have augmentations that make them much faster than normal. Caldari will use long to extreme range railgun/gauss rifle propelled slugs in sniper rifles and more than likely close-range shotgun-esque weapons. More than likely, they will have advanced anti-vehicle weaponry. Their soldiers very well may have personal shield generators for added defense and perhaps more advanced targeting systems than the other races. Amarr will naturally use lasers, which will be very effective in personell combat (since lasers emit high amounts of Electromagnetic Radiation and Thermal radiation.) They will probably be effective at anti-personell AND Anti-Vehicular combat. Following Amarr Strategy, their soldiers probably will have advanced armor/defense systems to give them increased damage absorbing capabilities. Here's a Concept Drawing I found a while ago on EvE's site for what appears to be Caldari soldiers invading a station of what looks to be Gallente origin (soldier being shot looks Gallentean) The weapon the Caldari is using looks very much like a shotgun.
I'm getting this. And I suggest all of you do the same. Then we can make a badass military unit and fuck shit up. Yeah. [editline]04:30AM[/editline] I know. I shall be Rictor Von Fukrip. Wielder of impractically applied heavy weapons. If I can realize that character, this will officially be the greatest game of all time.
Holy crepe, this looks amazing.
I think that as much as you can speculate that Marines in Dust 514 are going to somehow (and for some reason) have similar weapons to what they have in space, chances are that it's going to be generic shooter weapons. Rocket Launchers, Shotguns and Assault Rifles will probably be the norm.

I hope they do I guess. Also, would anyone say that the "gameplay" video (I have no idea) looks like Killzone 2? I think the graphics look almost exactly the same.

What? That the weapons are varied? No, they should be I suppose. I wonder, if there will be any sort of levelling system. So that everyone doesn't juts get the best weapons and best armour and best vehicles straight off and own everyone else. And if the game actually looks like that it will be fucking amazing
I would imagine you can only get better weapons based on various different things, including your rank, how expensive the weapon is, and possibly tech level (you have to learn how to use the weapon, after all, or have to know how to make the weapon, which would cost even more money.)
What consoles? o.o;

ALso, how can you tell its Gallente? It looks more caldari with the general lack of color and all the hard angles. It also has those weird symbols above the door.
What consoles? o.o;
The only two that matter. 270 and BS4

I THINK the soldier being shot is Gallente because of the green armor (Gallente always use green in their stuff) As for the symbols on the door, who knows? For all we know, that's what Gallente's written language looks like.
I agree with you on that Tele. It's more than likely that it is a Gallente being shot, especially if the shooter is Caldari, due to them being sworn arch enemies. As for the writing, I believe that none of the races in EVE really speak English, only the stories are written in English. In EVE reality, they all speak different languages, and as such they have different more symbolic writing than we do. I'm not sure on that but I am fairly sure that races don't speak English. It says somewhere that Caldari language is a mix between todays Chinese, Japanese and Russian. I think it might even be on the character description.
EvE Racial Mixes: Caldari - Modern Day Slavic, Russian, and Asian Gallente - Modern Day French / Western European Minmatar - Modern Day African, African American, and Islander Amarr - Modern Day American, South American, and Middle-Eastern That's the vibes I get. And I've been playing EvE since 2005. It seems to follow those lines, really. Caldari tend to use a lot of Russian and Asian sounding system names, and a lot of Eastern Mythology for their ships. Gallente use a lot of French and European sounding system names and Roman/Western Mythology. Minmatar use more Tribal and African sounding names and Norse / Old Mythology. Amarr use a lot of Middle-Eastern and American sounding names, combined with a huge amount of religious mythology and terms.

http://www.eve-central.com/corp/ASZ/caldari.html Apparently it's a mix between Japanese and Swedish I think, which is what they found some system names to be or something.
