Demon's Souls - "I'm in trouble — please recommend this thread!" - Games

I'm not really troubled by driving 10 min down the road. Even if they don't have it I can still do thinks like get a cup of coffee or get something to eat.

I haven't even passed the Big ass knight with the sword in World 1. What am I doing wrong... The third run on the bridge always gets me because there's like 3 Crossbow people and one of those gay heavy knights. Unfortunatly he was the blue phantom in the world I was invading and whilst I would have killed him hands down if we were 1 on 1, the human player got involved and finished me off a split second before I got the final blow. He had no shield or ways of defending or blocking against my blue blood sword with light weapon so once he attacked he was in for a ridiculous counter. I started a new character a while back and decided to use her last night. Summoned one guy at the first stage of Latria. Got through most of it, but the dumbass wearing mostly Brushwood armor tried to rush the creature at the bottom (the one that looks like a tangled orgy of gray swordsmen that flings magic arrows) and died. Helped out a lot with the guardians though. Found another dude that had only six multiplayer sessions and three 'D' ratings. Thought I'd give this loser a shot. The level was pretty much cleared so I figured I'd use him as bait against Fool's Idol. I don't know how, but the retard died somewhere, so I figured I'd kill Fool's Idol alone. Lo and behold, I'm invaded by some guy on the corpse ridden bridge using magic arrow and flame toss, but obviously had no magic power at all as his attacks were about as damaging as a q-tip. After slashing him several times and causing him to bleed with an uchigatana, I finished him off when he tried running away with a fatal backstab. I then proceeded into a victorious battle against Fool's Idol. Man, Japan [i]really[/i] needs to make more games like this and fewer final fantasies/dragon warrior rip-offs.

This is a game done very well. The way that you get invaded by a black phantom adds so much to the game.

I had some laughs when I was helping a friend with flamelurker on my new guy and a black phantom invaded right as we were going down the lift at the fat minister. He must've waited at the flamelurker fog for atleast 10minutes just for nothing because of the automatic exit when entering the boss fog.

Played like 4 hours straight at a friend's house. Was great, but god the temple knight take time to attack. Now, i understand the title of the thread. Oh, and seeing people recommending my messages make me go :buddy:

The Temple Knight actually has a really good starting weapon. If you can get the Halberd to +3 and then enchant it with Dragon, it is so good.

No. Nothing will. It gives it fire damage tho.

"Fast" is a relative term. There are several fast weapons. Daggers and rapiers are quick slashing and piercing weapons (respectively). They don't scale that well tho. Straight swords are alright. The best one actually comes from boosting your Luck, which is unconventional (but not bad). Curved Swords and Katanas are considered very good. Curved Swords have one of the best Dex weapons in the game, and an Uchigatana can be diverse. As for a character, it depends on what stat you're going to focus on and what gender you're playing as.

I got this like a week ago, but haven't played it much. I didn't really ragequit, I've just been playing other games. You guys should convince me to fire it back up and take down tower knight. I'm playing as Temple Knight right now but I'm thinking about restarting as a different class... maybe barbarian or royal. Any suggestions or strategies to get rape weapons early in the game?

Any suggestions or strategies to get rape weapons early in the game?[/QUOTE] If you pump up your Magic early on the Crescent Falchion +1 (found on 4-1) will deal more damage than anything else, at least until you can start making your own Crescent weapons. If you want to pump up your strength or dexterity, pretty much anything will work, but I suggest getting you hands on an Uchigatana (also found on 4-1) as quickly as possible.
