4-2 on NG+ is damaging my mental health. EVERYTHING one shots me. That unavoidable giant laser you run into every couple of seconds after the first fog gate? Gets me in 1, the damn near magic immune cunt of a reaper? If he manages to fire off a single soul light as I spent a good 30 seconds bashing his skull in, I'm done for. Are you using the right weapon? Have you forged a Crescent weapon of any kind? If not, get on that. Crescent weapons increase in damage based on your Magic stat.

Crescent secret dagger+5 at the moment, I'm slowly getting the stones for a crescent uchigatana+5. Problem is everything in this level seems to be highly magic resistant, and I have absolutely no other damage output so that kinda leaves me screwed.

Does NG+ boost enemy damage or they actually putted more enemy,traps and etc.

NG+ boosts everything's health and damage by at the very least about 200%. With every NG after NG+ they'll continue to get a health/damage boost of 20%.

Well the game finally arrived after almost 3 weeks. Had to order it from the US (I'm in the UK) I hope it was worth the wait. :v:

I just beat the False King on my first try. Warding made that fight a hell of a lot easier than I expected it to be. I forgot to get Demonbrand before finishing the game though.

Okay, I finally picked this game back up after ragequitting weeks ago. I'm still on the very first world, and got to the first bit with the dragons, did some exploring, found a note talking about a valuable ring, got the ring, but got toasted by the dragon near it. Ran through again, and got my first piece of plate. Died. Rinse and repeat. But I'm actually enjoying it, so that's an improvement. And three questions: When you get on the first set of ramparts, where the halberd, archer, and tough guy are, I found a note talking about treasure in a sort of twisty staircase. I cut some chains, but couldn't get the the gate at the bottom, any help? In that courtyard bit near the barrels that the guy will try to bomb you with, is that guy in the courtyard boss or something? What does leveling up do, and were do I level up when I got the arrow and knight icon?

The treasure is some female specific gear for casters. No idea what you're talking about with that one. Leveling up will raise a stat of your choice by one. You level up by talking to the Maiden in Black in the Nexus. You need to beat 1-1 tho. Not sure what you mean by the "arrow and knight icon".

I just meant the icon that appears below your health when you level up.
