Just get ready for the Fat Ministers... they always caused me a little bit of frustration. Until I got a good strategy for takin' them out.

I was over at a friends house for a couple days and we sat around all day just playing Demon's Souls. My dude is level 70ish with 20-something hours logged. I think I'm going to restart though because I messed up my stats and used a couple of colourless demon's souls.

I stopped to look at the controls and then started using them more effectively. Jump back to avoid their jab, and then do your own jab using R2. After that, finish them off by dodging and using light attacks. (Oh, and try to take out the archers in front of the BE knights without alerting the knights. It's a pain in the ass fighting both, plus the archers shooting from above.) Also, fucking skeletons in World 4. It's like they fucking know where I'm going to dodge every time.

The mace is probably better as it's blunt damage.

just roll a lot and hit them when they lunge you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly, if you've got turpentine apply that and take the bowmen out in a hit or two, you can't have them around when you're fighting the knight

Seeing as how the boss is the size of Rhode Island, hitting him with arrows isn't hard.

Excuse me, is it normal that NG+ in 4-1, the skeletons take away 50% of my health in one hit with almost full gloom armor, and that vanguard has around 6000 HP?

Just use warding all the time and stop up on 99x spices and you can take a crap load more to the point NG+ and ones after it are a joke. Reminds me I'm 2 trophies short off platinum and those are bladestone and mercury stone I think, should get them done sometime but I get distracted and play something else.

Vanguard is pretty easy though, you get a reasonable amount of space to get away and you can always just heal. You don't even need to get hit on that fight.
