Yeah, I'll take care of it. Something to note is that the EU version does have different servers than the US version, so you won't be able to play with the US or Asian version. Something I was a little disappointed about. If you need tips on Tower Knight, just say so. TK is really the first big wall you'll hit and it took me a while to kill him.

By the way guys, the EU version has the following exclusive content: - Dragons Breath Armour (insane fire protection but bit bad for PvP) - Upgradeable Lava Bow with Colourless Demon's Souls - Some other stuff I haven't found yet, I'm surprised they didn't hype it up with the exclusive content, would have attracted a lot of importers, it's basically Demons Souls 1.5

I know there is a new patch in the works but I don't know what it is going to change. Maybe they fixed a lot of things in the EU version that they'll roll out to the US and Asian versions. I hope so. I wouldn't want version differences like that...

I'd know how to do it if I had ranged and/or magic, but I only have melee weapons (winged spear +1 is the best one I have). The problem is I can't manage to get close enough, when I do manage to get in range of his feet, he'll just slam his shield repeatedly. Also should I be using a shield or should I go with two handed wielding? I can't parry his attacks, but I haven't checked if it reduces the damage. Nevermind, I managed to kill the fucker (luckily he had less health than it seemed).

Yeah, you definitely can't parry him and you might as well two hand whatever weapon to make his go down faster. Also, parrying in general is a bad idea.

You can block his attacks with say, the Purple Flame Shield. He's a intense battle of timing and speed

When can you exit the game without losing your souls? Do you have to save somehow or does it autosave? [editline]01:18PM[/editline] I tried quitting, and everything's the same, but I lost around 230 souls :ohdear: Can any tell me exactly what happens when you quit etc?

Damn this game is awesome. The only complaint I have is the light, it's a bit [B]too[/B] dark. I love dark games, I was the first one to whine when Diablo 3 went cartoony, but when everything is really really dark it just kind of looses it's "darkness" (the same way shock-events only work once or twice, have a shock-event every second and it loses it's shock value). Though it may be my brightness that is too low, because it said "stop when you can see the shield" and I stopped when I could barely see it, so maybe I should raise it.

If a mouse farts it autosaves.

So if I quit while in a "world" or whatever, I start again where I got to in that world with the same amount of souls?

So where should I go after the armoured spider? There is an elevator that brings me to two black phantoms (which will kill me) or some tunnels that lead to loot but nothing more. Alternatively the other way will bring me to the fire cave with those firebugs which take like 15 minutes to kill (if they don't kick my ass). Be sure to keep your shield up when he attacks and to have loads of health items. Also I had a winged spear +1 and an iron shield, but everything else was starter stuff.

Finally learnt how to suck less and beat Phalanx. Went to 2-1 and was doing great till i turn a corner and theres 2 brown monstery things with pickaxes that go to town on me.

Also I wonder what From Software will develop next, I liked Armoured Core, loved Otogi and I'm loving DS.

What's a good place to farm healing herbs? 1-1 gives quite a few of them, but those are the lesser ones and heal very little.
