Demon's Souls - "I'm in trouble — please recommend this thread!" - Games

Done Phalanx and (lol) Armoured Spider as a royal now. Tried 1-2, but the third battlement run i died, just made it away from the dragon, so the game says "LOL have 3 archers and 2 blue eyed knights"

Also 4-1 is awesome, so much treasure and shit (and the regen ring). I noticed that the difficulty doesn't change much with the first number (the 4 in 4-1), but more with the second one (the 1 in 4-1), or the numbers don't mean much. Also I defeated that damn red eyed knight finally, only to be rewarded with a locked door. [editline]05:38PM[/editline] Too many "also".

Because i wasnt expecting to be ganked so early, so i just kept running :p

Well fuck, fucking Fool's Idol. Now I'm not usually the one that rages much, but when the boss is at 1/10 of health and it fucking insta-paralyses me and starts bombarding me only to insta-paralyse me again as soon as the first one wears off, they might as well disconnect my damn controller.

On a serious note: The decoy Fools Idols will cast a small basic version of Soul Arrow and the real one will cast a massive blue fireball.

Yeah I noticed the thing with the spells. For some reason the first time she summoned consecutively two of those stun-traps on the same spot in which I was, leaving me right in the middle of 4 decoys. Also I just noticed that the red eyed knights give a shitload of souls, so I'm definitely going to farm those (or better, him, since I only know one).

Take all the time you need to hide, look around, make sure you're not going to step on any glyphs. It's one of the easier boss fights because you can take your time.

I sure hope they will release DLC, there is a damn stone in the nexus that is shattered, they can't just leave it like that right?

They probably will. I don't think From Software is the DLC type. And it's been almost two years now. [editline]01:58PM[/editline] Also, if you have a blue phantom Fool's Idol was ridiculously easy. At least for my friend and I.

My favourite world is 1. Love the medieval setting. and the dragon who was an arsehole until I murderified that bastard.

Got to the maneater, he would be relatively easy if only you weren't fighting him on a narrow open bridge.

I haven't tried since, but I am stuck on 3-4 I believe.

Fuck, where would I find a Stone of something eyes? I nearly defeated the Flamelurker but I was in soulform so the fucker managed to get in two hits on me and killed me (he had like 1/20 of HP left).

They were a real bitch, it really helps if you have a thief's ring and can lose one of them so that the other can be focused on. Anyway, the last boss I can fight is the false king and damn he's a bitch.

Also the irritating thing with the maneater is when he throws you down. Seriously dying from hits isn't too bad, but when he makes me fall I just rage. Though I haven't tried anymore, going to kill the Flamelurker now (as soon as I get out of soulform).

In any case, you can find them all around the world, I got like 14 I didn't use on my first playthrough.

SoEE's are plentiful without buying them. I always have at least 20 at the end of a play.

I killed Patches cos he's a massive cunt. Say, can I upgrade my +8 dagger to a Needle of Eternal Agony or does it _have_ to be +7? I know the needle is shit, but trophy weapon gogo.
