Thread revival time; I had recently bought a PS3 (and for a while, had "no games" :v:) and bought MGS4, Motorstorm, and this game to start off with. I've played Demon's Souls the longest, and I'm amazed at how fun the game is. I had been wanting to play it even before I bought my PS3. Some of my favorite/most notable moments so far are the part right at what I'm assuming to be the end of the tutorial; I went from fighting skeletons to some giant-ass rock golem thing and got instantly cockslapped by it and died. Soon after that I dicked around in the Nexus and read some of the messages and bloodstains, the best one there was a message saying "Farewell!" with the bloodstain showing him jumping off of a high ledge to his death. Very excited to play through further, my character is a Barbarian and I can't figure out how to get a (cross)bow or armor.

Man i want to play this, When does DarkSouls come out?

Totally stoked for Dark Souls. If it actually is almost a 1:1 copy of Demon's Souls, I will be very happy. I'm looking forward to Dark Souls more than any other game right now

I stopped leveling my guy around 80 just to pvp alot p.s. meat cleavers fucking rape roll roll roll roll roll AOE SUPERDAMAGE

I like having the Morion Blade, Clever Rat's Ring, Master's Ring, and a +10 Knights Shield. If I parry with that combination, I did over 1600 damage, and backstabs were nearly 2000. I always wanted to try a pure Hyper Mode build.

Demon's Souls will fuck up a lot of games for you. I can't stand playing anything easy anymore. If I'm not getting my ass handed to me frequently, I'm not happy.
