Fucking Flamelurker. Only boss I can't solo. Died, killed him as a summoned Blue, gonna wait for a Soul Sigil this time...

Apparently, as I found out when I was a Blue, I do a fuck-ton of damage to him as melee because Demonbrandt is awesome. I'll still wait as long as I can for a Soul Sigil, but I know I can melee him pretty damn well.

What class are you?

Started as Royal. Doesn't matter now since I've deviated so far from what I started as. I'm going for a Dex build.

Just beat him. Found a Soul Sigil and the guy was doing good, but he had a bad timed heal and got raped. :( I melee'd Flamefucker down. It was a lot easier than using magic.

When I first fought Old Monk, I got the NPC and screwed up so I died. Next try was against some laggy fucker who I could not hit because everything on my end registered five seconds late. Not only that, but he broke all my shit with a Scraping Spear. Third try was tough, but I won. Rarely do I have to use parry to kill someone, but I did it and it was sweet.

I've only read positive things about this game really, I'm going to buy it tomorrow, I can't wait to get it.

Something about being the final challenge is really fun to me. (Plus like I've said, I rarely lose) My only problem with the game is a very temporary one. Now that Atlus has made everything pure white WT, everyone who's able to carry the Dragon Bone Smasher is, meaning if I get hit I'm hurting pretty bad.

Go from level 30 to 52 and and still can't beat flamelurker.

I just call it the Keel Smasher because that's a cooler name. :v: And the Dragon God is just that easy. In Pure Black World Tend. a Black Phantom NPC drops [url=http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/blind]Blind[/url], the sword I want for my build (heavy Dex).

The only part of 1-3 I keep having trouble with is the three red masked demons with the pikes. The only time I've ever been able to beat them is when I was a blue phantom because the host was a damn good archer. [editline]04:45PM[/editline] Also, I just got Poison Cloud. You don't even need to be good at bows, just use it to pull. Poison Cloud is a lot more useful vs. bosses than Black Phantom's. Acid Cloud, on the other hand, is a real bitch to players. On that note, so is the Scraping Spear, which I should take the time to make.

I've been burnt by it. Everyone has. It's a fucking pimple on the face of an otherwise great system. I've been killing more and more players by use of parry tho, which is fucking pro.

I got the flamelurker's health down to about 50%.

Fuck. Seems like I can't do some of my Black Tend. stuff until this Winter event is over. Guess I'm setting the game aside for the rest of the week...

(I have accidentally rolled into him and he stood up like I attacked him though) His little buddy apprentice is gone too so I cannot learn or change my spells. Is there any way to do that without him?

Why the hell are people comparing this to Shadow of the Colossus? Yeah, it has big monsters, but that's the only similarity I can see.

They're not even similar. Demon's Souls being good is the largest difference.
