This has to be one of the best RPG's I've played all year. It's also really fucking brutal.

finally got mine monday, 42 hours in and on NG+ at SL 102 right now and got all worlds cept 5 and 3-2/3-3 done so far but gonna farm and get some more shit done as I've really struggled with some of the bosses on NG+ solo (false king and flamelurker). Struggling with maneater on ng+ without using any cheap methods. my guy is kinda half gimped too, anyone here around SL 102 willing to give a hand with him? Only had 2 invasions so far and was chosen to be the old monk once and he died before entering the fog. The 2 invasions were fun, the first was right as I killed the first skeleton inside 4-1, he only had magic that fired straight and a dagger which could be basically blocked forever with the amount of stamina it chipped off and eventually killed him with the DBS. The 2nd invasion took almost a hour in 3-1 ending in a death for us both, I ended up knocking off the ledge and following him off by accident. almost a hour of back and forth fighting just for us both to fall. and this game... :iia: also is there a way for people to give items without losing it themselves say drop it and give and quit instantly because I seemed to have dropped my compound bow someplace and it was the one from the treasure, wanted to upgrade it :(

You can. You could also free him and wait until he is in the Nexus (after you kill the 3-2 boss) and you get two free souls from the random NPC corpses that appear [I]and[/I] you won't risk losing his gear. If you're talking about the Short Compound Bow from 1-2, you should grab the Long Compound Bow from 4-1. It's better.

Finally got him, by backstabbing him 80,000 friggin' times in a row. Edit: Black Phantom version, of course. The White WT version was easy.
