Once you get [sp]Soulsucker[/sp] all that should be cake.

I would love to get that but Freke was killed as well as his apprentice. I'll have to get it in NG+.

[sp]You get it from Yuria, but you have to do it in NG+ anyway because it needs the Black Maiden Demon Soul.[/sp]
I love this game, but it's so difficult. I get frustrated on the occasion when I lose a few thousand souls when I'm only 20 feet away from my bloodstain. I also really need to figure out how to beat some of the stronger, and larger groups.

Usually if a larger group is following you just fall back a bit and one of them will take the lead. Just take him out first and then repeat.

One at a time. Pulling with a bow works very well. Also, a few thousand souls will be nothing later. I lost 100,000+ and shrugged.

That still sucks though, that's almost a level!
Ah the good ol' days when a level only cost 800 souls...
A little late to the game, but Banned?, you could just play offline but not logging into the PSN and canceling the log-in prompt you receive in Demon's souls. Mostly how I play now considering my world tendency always resets whenever I play online to some random setting. Usually around white.

My soul level is around 260 and I pay almost 600,000 souls now and it's only going to get higher. Still never found a pure bladestone either.

You're logging off in the Nexus. Just log off anywhere but in the Nexus and your World Tend. should be fine.

Damnit Banned. You're always one step ahead of what I'm going to say.
I have nothing better to do for the next hour.
lol I just got the title of this thread
Made a new character just to focus on using the large sword of moonlight and people still try to block it :smug:.
Plus my original guy is waiting to go below the nexus once more but decided to farm some things for upgrades before doing that so currently running around with 4m souls he can't spend at sl 122. :sigh:
probably best game I've played this year too.

I can't even fathom having that many souls. How the fuck did you manage that?

So a Faith build? I was thinking of doing that next too.
I ran into two Black Phantom's the other day, both with LSoM.One was built for it and hit like a truck on fire. The other wasn't and hit like a little girl. Pretty stark contrast between a well built character and a shitty one.
I guess I'm gonna go do NG+. I've been wanting to beat all the bosses at least once in a regular game but I hate poison (Fuck you 5-2) so Maybe I'll go for the trophies at a later time.
Also, If I start a NG+ do the white WT areas stay opened?

Only if you still have PWT going into a new game.
Only if you still have PWT going into a new game.
I haven't played since the event so I probably do.
Wow, I started playing this today.
It makes me want to cut myself, I'm still on the first mission/area/thing I've died twelve or thirteen times on that bit the fuckers with the firebombs. Seems like a fun game though.

You'll run into them a LOT so you better get a strategy going.
[sp] If you block with a shield you won't take fire damage[/sp]
Is this harder than IWBTG, in sense of twitch reactions and overall timing?
Is this harder than IWBTG, in sense of twitch reactions and overall timing?
It's a different kind of difficult.
Read this:
I'm pretty biased so instead of giving you a mini review I'll just give you facts. The game is a little slower paced than you're probably used to but the way the game is presented you'll hardly notice. The main reason (for me) it's so fun is the difficulty. If you go all sword swinging like crazy you WILL die. You need to be precise about when you attack and when you defend. This game realizes you are trying to beat it and it doesn't let you do that easily. It will NOT hold your hand or take it easy on you because you're new. In fact, in the very first level if you take a wrong turn you will face an opponent who is impossible to beat at your level. There are something like 12 classes to choose from at the start, but that only effects your starting stats and equipment. You are free to level your character as you please. Do you want to create a barbarian with 300 mana? (Even though barbarians can't use magic.) The game says go for it. On the multiplayer side of the field, you can team up with two other people to take on the game. The way it's presented though you will still feel like the lone hero of Boletaria. You will find red and blue markings on the ground, the red ones are messages from other players giving you hints or trying to mess with you. (The messages are semi pre-built so you won't find any messages referencing anything out of game.) The blue markings are other players who have died and are willing to join your game as a phantom to aid you. If you find another players bloodstain, you can touch it to see how that player died as well, potentially warning you of a large enemy ahead. Now, in addition to the players who can join your game to aid you (known as 'blue phantoms') other players can also break into your game and try to kill you. These players are 'black phantoms' and if they succeed they get all of the souls you have on you. If you kill them you get the souls they have as well as they lose a level. I could keep going and going but I think I'm gonna stop there.
AHHHH!
I got by the firebombs, managed to not die from the rolling boulder trap, killed the armored guy that does the evil shield bash, went down some stairs, and got blown up by a firebomb hitting a bunch of barrels apparently filled with gunpowder.
FUCK!

Yea. I saw someone's bloodstain there the first time I did that part so I've never died there.
[sp] Either destroy the barrels first or kill the guy from a distance. Or if you're quick you can just dodge back. Your call.[/sp]

I think World Tend. resets with every new game.
Lol at having to bin 50 small cloudstones because they were too heavy and the max you can have in your bank is 99 :D
Not that it matters, the best shields you can't upgrade with that stone anyways.

I keep farming 4-3 for chunks of cloudstone and a pure darkmoonstone but haven't found either. :frown:
I just got this game, started as a soldier, huge pain in my ass but so satisfying. So where's this bank? :D
