I actually think HL3 is more likely now than EP3. Or at least a HL2+ length game called Episode 3. EDIT: I mean it's not like they signed a contract saying "OMG WE CAN NEVER M4EK HAF LIEF 3 UNTEEL ALL TEH EPISODZ R DUN" They just said that was whats was planned from the start. They planned to make them release in quick succession but that only really worked with Ep1 so I bet they scrapped the idea after Ep2 without telling us.

As long as EP3 (or whatever they decide to call it) is pretty damn long I'll be happy. I don't want some 4-5 hour game; I want a game with enough length to truly be worthy of being a Half-Life game.

I don't suppose anyone's thought about Barney and the possibility of Blue Shift 2. We still don't know where he went.

I don't get why everybody suddenly gets the idea that it will be HL3 and not EP3. They're going to end the Freeman story arc with EP3, and whenever they decide to do HL3 it's going to be something new, it's even been said by Gabe himself.

B) It would make sense. The whole episodic, "shorter games released more frequently" thing has obviously failed, and given how long Episode Three's been in development, it damn well better be a full-length game. Might as well ditch the Episode moniker if that's the case.

Knowing VALVe, they're probably gonna show HL3 and then some. PLEASE a new engine. Source is awesome but we need more eye candy as well.
