Special faceposes or not won't stop people from recompiling the models for Gmod use. Unless THAT is impossible too.

They are not sure if coop will be in release, because It would require to edit all maps to fit cooping. Lurk on their forum moar and ask that. They are avoiding this question.

I can't help but think that they put so much work into this only to release this for free? Are they getting sponsored or are they looking foward to Valve purchasing Black Mesa: Source so the guys that made the mod get money as well as Valve?

Yay! I've been waiting for this for so long... Although, I enjoyed the Gearbox mods more, though maybe because it felt fresher at the time.

So the only thing that might not work in gmod will be the different faces that are generated using those flexes.

When there was a leak (not to long ago) people complained to the developers that the textures and models were shit. One of the devs told me this...but maybe the people lied? I sure hope so...this looks so fricken cool.

Any news on when it will be released? I really want this game, and more people need to see this thread.

They claim they're still on track. Their youtube channel had some additional alpha gameplay demonstrations (with a big note that it was old stuff) added the past few months.
I saw that facial stuff. It reminds me of Fallout 3's facial system, and the way they all have the same base mesh but look completely different at the same time. I must say, I'm impressed.
