I'll see it when I believe it. But that doesn't mean I really want this mod to come out. I have been waiting for this mod ever since it was announced and I lost hope a long time ago. So in due time we will see the outcome, I just hope it comes out before the end of this year.

Half-life 1 took a little over 1 year to start and complete, story line and everything.
And I don't have HL so I can, in a way, get it free

Yes, but they are remaking everything with Source, which is more detailed and takes longer as a result. And unlike Valve, they aren't getting paid to do this, this isn't their job. They have to do this on their own time, when they aren't at work/school.

It's not dead. The developers constantly post on the forums, and they have a twitter. It WILL be released this year. Just have patience. Also, who's giving all those dumbs and disagrees? You guys are idiots. Remaking the entire game is a big, big project. Especially for a mod. If you're whining about dates or how long it has taken, you're a bloody idiot. It DOES have a release date. This year!
