Seriously, such a mod ain't just easily done that fast.[/QUOTE] They've been working on this for longer than it has taken us to reach Episode 2, I know they made some engine switches, but they didn't even have to go too far in the conceptual stage of development, most of it was laid out by HL1 already (though it is good they did do concept again, some of the stuff they thought about changing looks much nicer). They could have had this done in two or three years if they had put a lot more time into it, and had all the required members constantly working on it. But alas, they are not a game studio and still have real jobs to be doing :frown: Bust they still could have had it near enough ready for release now if they didn't keep changing everything up :argh:

They havn't made much games (if not none) before so give them a break, this mod is going to be the best mod of 2009. When gabe made hl2 they really didn't have much experience with games either and it also took them 5 years and look at how great of a game they produced.

Did they have a period after finding out it was leaked and took a break to go cry in a corner? Or did they do something stupid like go "Fuck it, everyone's seen this part now so we HAVE to completely rebuild it!"? I can't see any reason why a leak would actually delay it, unless they're pissy little ultra-sensitive bitches (aka FakeFactory).

Well there is always next christmas, maybe jesus will return the day this mod comes out, both have the same chance of happening.

They still haven't updated their main page in regards to the release date, No idea why.

When a certain number of people downloaded it they seemed to get a bit pissy about it. And decided the only way to make people stop is to delay it.
