Personally I would recommend installing [url=www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-/]Optifine[/url] and then using either [url=www.minecraftforum.net/topic/318085-/]Traditional Beauty (64x)[/url] (upscaled and then retouched) or [url=www.minecraftforum.net/topic/72747-/]Faithful (32x)[/url] (completely repainted) depending on taste. No offense, but people joining the server are most likely to be using either the default minecraft textures or something that looks very much like them and new players are our greatest asset.

Well OptiFine is a no-brainer, still the SCP texturepack offers a lot of great more foundation-ish things. Also warning lights.

See, that's one of the things I don't like about using wildly different texture packs. What mundane item is replaced with these warning lights?

I just made a cheap, bare-bones replica of the door I posted earlier in the testing chamber. Hey guys, (preferably one of the admins) how about SCP-087 or whatever the neverending staircase SCP is? I have an idea for it: Since we can't feasibly make it go down forever, how about it goes down to a certain depth and there's a teleport trigger that sends you back up to the top so if you constantly head down, it will feel like it's never-ending?

The teleport would be set to a landing that was lower than the door, so you go to the bottom, hit the teleport, and come out a landing or two below the entryway.
