since we have the SSTV pics and where the originals come from, does anyone have an idea if it would be possible to find out the process that those images went though (or close to what they went through) and maybe revese if for the other SSTV pics.
seperate theory:
could all these pictures be coming from all the orange orbs (curiosity cores) that we saw light up and activate at the end on the portal credits?

I think it's pretty clear these sounds/images are a message from someone in the Half-life/portal universe, but what I really want to know is who, and for what reason are they sending these messages? Or does it really have NO impact on the game universe and the radios are simply Valve's choice of delivery for us to find the messages they wanted to send?
