Is that Jonathon Davis, lead singer of Korn?
Not gonna lie, they strike me as lower-poly Skyrim models that have been through the Nexus. Especially that altmer.
-snip, didn't realize there was another update for it-
From my experience, if SKSE says that the patch is incompatible, then I immediately go to the site and download whatever version is there, and install it. If it still doesn't work, give them some time to update it.
Alrighty.
-bunch of race pics-
I'd really like to see a game with all of the Khajiit races, or at least the Ohmes and Ohmes-raht, instead of just the Suthay-raht all the damn time.
Especially since according to the lore the Ohmes are the ones most commonly found outside Elsweyr.
Huh...So the Argonians don't look like mummified bats anymore? Now I'm interested.
Sadly my main problem is that I won't be able to play as an Argonian with my girlfriend and my best friend who want to be Khajiit and Bosmer.
The old Argonians looked more like Trandoshans than anything.

You know, like Bossk... from Star Wars.

Not sure I understand what it is you're trying to convey.
Did a bit of exploring with TFC, and found this
Not sure I understand what it is you're trying to convey.
You really don't see any marked differences in the old vision of the dark elves and the new one?
Let's just hope TESO doesn't fail horribly.
Uh what?
Not sure I understand what it is you're trying to convey.
Most elven races have gone from being at least somewhat original by having unique and bizarre features (that were actually pretty fucking grotesque really) to being generic pretty-boys with pointy ears.

In Oblivion, maybe.
Blame Morrowind's writers and designers for ditching Bethesda the moment the game shipped.
Except elves were probably the weirdest they've ever looked in Skyrim, so that's really not the problem.

Actually that was Oblivion's release illustration. The old TES domain and hard copy of the manual used this picture:

Exactly, so what was your point of them being "generic pretty boys" about?
Skyrim's elves are as unique and as far away from "pretty boys" as they've ever been.

I'm talking about TESO elves, keep up. They look like some one stuck pointy ears on a male model.
They look like some shitty drow rip off now.

We've got like, one low res picture of one probably randomly generated elf.
We know nothing yet.
And besides, it's still like 2938521345 times better than Oblivion's, well, everything.
[editline]dickass[/editline]
Also, it's TES:O, who really cares.

we also got one low res picture of one orc in WoW-proportion tank armor. the models they choose to demonstrate mean a lot
TES:O will affect future Elder Scrolls games, success or fail. budgets will change. for now we may as well critique design choices to source our predictions of the game's success and the vitality of our beloved series
the models they choose to demonstrate mean a lot
Clearly not since the entire point of Medevilae's posts is showing how much they've changed.

There really isn't a logical step that should lead one to the conclusion that TES:O will affect The Elder Scrolls. It's completely seperate from the singleplayer series, it's an entirely different localized studio that was pretty much created just for the project, and it's more or less marketed to a different audience.
The Elder Scrolls and Bethesda Game Studios are far too important for ZeniMax, they're unique and they're well-loved, ZeniMax, though apparenty dumb enough to decide making TES:O was a good idea, is not dumb enough to mess with their flagship developer and series.
The only real repercussions TES:O failing or being a success will have is whether or not ZeniMax Online will have any more work.
Well, maybe if TESO work well, maybe we will get a Fallout online...
Some of these new pictures of ESO actually make me a little excited for its release.
I'm glad they made Sentinel a port town, instead of just resting a mile or two offshore.
One of they few things they could have changed from Daggerfall that makes sense.
Clearly not since the entire point of Medevilae's posts is showing how much they've changed.
this is a accurate rebuttal to my point, laughably so, and that isn't sarcasm

that's true
this is all true
i'm not really thinking straight, sorry, i'm tired and my car just got egged tonight
what do you guys hope to see in the new worldspaces of TES:O?
I don't think it's illogical at all to see TESO and TES as having the ability to mutually affect each other's development and sales.
Morrowind's on release Dunmer illustration:
It is written that around the 3E 400s facial lotion was in overabundance in such quantities that all races and all genders were required to use it every day on their faces. This led to a slow, but steady evolution of plump, soft, potato-shaped faces.
[editline]21st March 2013[/editline]
Something something something the lotion mines dried up.
[sp]It is a cosmetics joke.[/sp]
Going to be replaying Morrowind,

pick my class for me. I'll pick race, gender, and name according to it, and give a log on how it goes.
