I see non-dragon born characters doing that all the time. The very first time I played the game Irileth did a finishing move on the dragon that attacks the watchtower for me.
That finishing move looks really dumb when anyone but yourself does it, and even when you do it's still kind of janky.

Someone need to make a modpack Greave + Pauldron, so we can have a full Morrowind like experience.

Don't forget separate gauntlets.
make way for this era's undisputed master assassin

I just watched the ESO previews...
They did it. They made Dunmer into generic Dark Elves...
Looks like I'll be an orc if I ever play it...

I believe it's a bug and you need to edit the ini file

How do you make these .gifs?
Oblivion did that
Skyrim half undid it (aesthetically, and they tried with the voice)
I love how elves look in Skyrim. If Skyrim did one thing perfectly, it's the appearance of the races.
I think that last update broke my Skyrim, whenever I try to load one of my saves it goes to the loading screen and then crashes. I was wondering if any of you had the same problem.
So, someone linked a mod that adds separate greaves to the game, but it doesn't work. Has anyone else gotten it to work?
What I mean is, they show up and I can smith them, but wearing them makes no changes to my character whatsoever.

Also my Skyrim crashes on startup now D:

I hate to be this guy but the Dunmer have always been pretty generic, especially in Oblivion.
not in morrowind...unless riding around on giant bugs and living is houses made of exoskeletons to survive in a fucking volcanic wasteland is "generic".

I think the only races I liked more in Oblivion were the Argonians and Khajiits.
Argonians look more aquatic in Oblivion, and Khajiits look too much like kittens in Skyrim.

No actually they were pretty damn terrible in oblivion, both khajits and argonians.
Anyway, have this thing I've been working on: Skyrim/Data/Interface/Translate_ENGLISH.txt. The string for Legendary difficulty is untested due to the above bug.
I changed "360 Controller" to just "Controller" (because I'm playing with a DualShock), all instances of "Stamina" with "Fatigue" to reflect earlier TES games, and the rest...well you'll just have to see for yourself.

The only other dark elves I can think of are the Drow from the forgotten realms, tell me exactly how the Dunmer are ANYTHING like Drow.

If you look carefully you will notice it is just another play-doh oblivion head with a snout and eyes taped on.
Now you will never unsee.

I prefer the less chiseled Dunmeri look in Morrowind. It's one of the things that makes Morrowind's strangeness so in-your-face.
They nailed the Khajiit voices in Skyrim, raiding dungeons with Antonio Banderas is a dream come true for me.

There's a tutorial in the general media thread.
I also pop the finished gif into GIMP and convert it to indexed colors to reduce the filesize.
Has anyone ever noticed how much the nightingale armor looks like Batman's Dark Knight trilogy costumes?

Just for that, I'm gonna make a priestess character who uses warhammers.
Just cause

Wow, you sure showed me.
Wasn't there a mod which turned women into steroid-injected buff dudes with a female face?
Should I be ashamed if I'm only playing on adept difficulty?
Should I be ashamed if I'm only playing on adept difficulty?
I played on apprentice when I first got the game, and it took a while for me to decide to change it up to Adept, and then the next one. If that's how you like the game, then there's no shame in fun.
I'm looking for a specific mod for Skyrim that I used to use before but I can't find it anymore.
It's a Nexus mod that uses NMM config menu (you install the mod in NMM and a config menu pops up) where you could choose separate presets for outdoors, indoors, dungeons, etc.
Each preset option had a small preview image.
It has a very beautiful high-saturation preset (which is the reason I want it) with a preview picture of a huge mountain with sun setting behind it and it was all colorful and blue/red-ish.
It's not an ENB or FXAA Injector mod.
It uses a Java program to customize Skyrim's own post-processing.
That's all I remember about it, I spent an hour looking through Nexus but didn't manage to find it-
Does anyone have any idea what's the mod I'm looking for?
