Isn't there a ENB that doesn't make daylight blinding and night time pitch black? All I want is some colour in skyrim, why is this so hard?
Get the imaginator, it lets you use the imagespace saturation. With the right settings, you can get a decent amount of color without getting neon-grass. IIRC there is a grey filter built into the game's textures as well, so achieving better colors is harder than just stuffing a filter over it.
tropical skyrim is an ENB in itself except way better
tropical skyrim is an ENB in itself except way better
There is a lack of immersion when everyone complains about the temperature. Also, raptors.
im guessing the answer is yes, but is anyone else having trouble with the nexus right now?
im guessing the answer is yes, but is anyone else having trouble with the nexus right now?
Works fine for me.
There is a lack of immersion when everyone complains about the temperature. Also, raptors.
oddly, the raptors dont work for me all i ever see is wolves (which im fine with) also hardly anyone ever complains about the coldness. all i can think of is the guy in whiterun who says the cold wont be good for his crops in fact, a carriage driver actually said "It's almost like it's getting hotter." when i jumped in the carriage it was probably coincidence, but it was still cool
Anyone else think steel armor with pauldrons (aka, the most stylish heavy armor) should either have a higher armor eating or be more valuable than standard steel armor?
ooh that makes me think; get steel armor, upgrade it, get steel pauldrons, upgrade them bam, non-useless pauldrons ...or like with every mod i dream up, you can edit property variables in the CK [editline]Edited:[/editline] oh man i'm bookmarking this, definitely gonna be checking up on their progress, can't wait
Isn't there a ENB that doesn't make daylight blinding and night time pitch black? All I want is some colour in skyrim, why is this so hard?
Type teofis in the console (disables bloom and blurs). BTW, I have been messing around with Spell Making in Skyrim (ergo, using the Creation Kit to do so). Basically, elemental stacking would have broken it; combining Firebolt, Lightning Bolt and Ice Spike into a single spell, having all 6 elemental boosting perks, would yield a spell that was leaving HUGE dents on Lv 81 NPCs with elemental resistances. Same as Chaos Damage, try enchanting something with it with a character with elemental perks... So yeah, shame on the long loading to get some spells, because otherwise it rocks (but doing it ingame remains VASTLY superior).
So I'm trying to create a mod, and right now I'm trying to learn how to replace the texture of an item. So I have my altered texture and have placed it in the data folder where it would make sense according to the layout of the texture BSA and other mods I have installed, but in-game the item just uses the base texture. So, uh, how do I do this?

So if yours is in a different folder or has a different name, you need to change it to match the one in the mesh file.
There is a lack of immersion when everyone complains about the temperature. Also, raptors.
Not to mention much of the armor/clothing is completely unfitting for that climate.
Yeah, tropical skyrim should be more than just climate. Otherwise that sleeveless thieves guild armor looks be the only suitable thing to wear. [editline]23rd March 2013[/editline] What armor is that anyway? I know it ain't guildmaster armor
Updated my PC with a current gen cpu and DDR3 RAM fired up skyrim, runs butter smooth with no framerate dips at all nearly shed a tear
I know that feel. Got a new PC last week. Skyrim had always been running kinda crap, but now i run it maxed with super demanding ENBs (indirect lighting and all that fancy jazz), high res textures and more detailed enviroments and dynamic lighting. 60+ fps easily. I DID actually shed a tear, after hundreds of hours with poor performance. The first thing i saw when i started up my savegame after the upgrade. Was really happy.
Yeah, tropical skyrim should be more than just climate. Otherwise that sleeveless thieves guild armor looks be the only suitable thing to wear.
Just get a CBBE armor patch, at least that would make armor practical for women. :v:
A nice mod got on the top five hot mods. It's really cool. Adds improved weapons to NPCs randomly, so the Dragonborn isn't the only one who has them. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33502/
Anyone else using the Apocalypse Spell Pack? Just maxed my Alteration, paralyzing people and then casting Throw on them causes a resonance cascade, it's hilarious. :v:
Just duped and stored the Oghma Infinium 90 times for power leveling when 1.9 hits consoles. 90 is more than enough to raise every skill back to 100 from 15.
player.additem 0001A332 90 Oh.. you're a console peasant, my apologies. [sp]It's a joke[/sp]
Well, it was a bad joke and it's not like I play on console by choice.
Well, it was a bad joke and it's not like I play on console by choice.
Wasn't that caused by a driver update or something??
Wasn't that caused by a driver update or something??
Nah, it's caused by having a pre-built HP with an ATI Radeon 4200.
Nah, it's caused by having a pre-built HP with an ATI Radeon 4200.
Looks fine to me, I dunno what you're complaining about.
Ugh. Really hoping for a sale on the DLC soon, I don't have any of them and some good mods require it, plus I'm going through the game with a new character and trying some different quests and possibly going Vampire would be fun. Are these DLCs honestly worth $20 each? (Excluding Hearthfire, I'm not big on RP)
I don't regret buying them at full price, but I would have been more comfortable with paying $10 rather than $20. Especially for Dawnguard.

Dawngaurd now costs half of the game itself, which is a bit fucked.
I found it bizarre that they dropped the price of skyrim but not the DLC. Dawngaurd now costs half of the game itself, which is a bit fucked.
Buying all the DLC is paying 150% of the regular game's price. :wtc:
Fuck I'm bored of Skyrim again. I'm guessing there's no news on DLC?
Can i get a rough idea of how much content is added with Dragonborn?
