What was the rule for soultrapping people in morrowind? There weren't black soul gems in that game, could you put anyone in white gems? Did each individual person have their own power level?

You just couldn't.
What's the name of the sheathing animation file? I really like it but the other ones are not ones I would use. And of course they don't use simple names.
1hm_equip.hkx
1hm_unequip.hkx
Put them under meshes\actors\character\animations\female if you want it to just apply to females.

Could you link me to that generator? I have a feeling it's part of a site I've been trying to find.

Thanks a ton. Definitely using this forever and always.
a website for people with no imagination
So, I've come to the conclusion that i am a sadistwhen playing skyrim
First off, you should know, i like to imagine everything.
i give people backstories... a life other, than just as an NPC in a game.
I.E.
if i saw a bandit camp, and after looting it all found out that it wasn't anything special. no good weapons, little food etc...
then i would paint a story round that, about how... the last few raids hadn't gone to plan, discord was been spread across the camp, tensions where frayed.
anyway.
I'm playing as a suave, sophisticated Mage.
the kind of guy who COULD just walk into the thalmor embassy, because he has that aura of coolness around him.
but, the way i'm playing this character, i'm trying to not directly kill any living person.
draugr, creatures and the like don't count, because sometimes there really is no way not kill something.
but my character's mentality is that of, "I like to kill people... but i don't want to get my hands dirty..."
recently, my SECOND favorite way of killing was casting Entrapment vines (mod) which slow the enemy down to a stop while dealing some damage to them, but not enough to kill.
but... while they are trapped, cast frenzy on one of their friends
so now, they are panicking and screaming for help and mercy, while one of their good life-long friends, charges at them, pure bloodlust in his eyes.
he decapitates his brothers and sisters with merciless glee as his few remaining alive friends beg him to stop.
once his family lay dead at his feet, i let the the frenzy spell wear-off naturally.
it gives me such happiness to imagine what his face would look like after.
he looks down at his sword, at the blood that has stained it, and the mutilated bodies of his friends at his feet... i also like to imagine that one of his friends, maybe the only women he loved in the world was one of his victims, she managed to cling to life, long enough to see her boyfriend/husband return to sanity, she desperately clings to his legs asking him why he did this. (it's even BETTER, when they say "No, NO! why is this happening!" or something along those lines..."
meanwhile, the whole time i would be watching from the shadows while invisible, and after I've felt enough time has passed, to truly let the horror, of what he has done sink in, to burn it, into his very soul... i shall emerge from the shadows, and plunge my rust iron dagger of soul catching into his throat.
Once he is trapped, i grab his weapon that he killed with, and return to my enchantment table... where upon, i enchant his weapon... with his own soul... with the name of the area he killed his friends in...
Orcish Greatsword - Bleakfalls barrow.
Iron Battleaxe - Bruca's Leap Redoubt.
Steel Warhammer - Snapleg Cave.
Steel Greatsword - Swindler's Den.
After that, i gather all the corpses in one spot and burn them, so the souls are freed and sent to sovngarde/where-ever
then i take my new enchanted weapon... (who's soul is forever trapped) back to my house and lock it up never to be used again.
(i like to imagine that when my character sleeps, the weapons locked away downstairs, he can still hear the glorious sound of their souls screaming in torment at what they have done.
a website for people with no imagination
All my characters are just really generic names. Dave, Alan, Derek.
a website for people with no imagination
I went through a site full of Roman names for my char considering I went imperial, ended up on Severina Aurrus.
You just couldn't.
You could soul trap gods though like Almelexia and Vivec though.
I name mine after ye olde Finnish words.
Current one is called Varsta. One before that was Astalo.
TES name generator is my go-to
I've always liked this one when I can't think of a name and don't want to use one from my pool of go-tos.
Decent mod questlines are finally rolling out.
Epic adventure requiring both exceptional skill and will to sacrifice.
Approximately 3-5 game play hours involving a role of an undercover agent. (16 new quests)
5 new dungeons with challenging enemies.
Over 25 new fully voiced NPCs including merchants and trainers.
Fair amount of (definitely-not-overpowered) loots.
6 new unique reward perks/abilities that can be earned throughout the quests in this mod.
The returning faction from TES4: Oblivion --- The Mythic Dawn, with a populated underground fortress.
My only problem with adding in things that come with characters is that they're never voiced well
Are there any mods that are voiced well?
Are there any mods that are voiced well?
I have this mod that adds in Gordon Freeman. Best voice acting ever. It blew me away how accurate and clear it was.
[editline]26th March 2013[/editline]
Seriously, though. There are a few mods that have good-sounding voice acting. The Hoth follower mod comes to mind. And then there are some mods that could be better, like the Atvir Dres follower mod. He sounds so... I can't think of any word to describe it other then "weird".

I always just make up a name as lore-friendly as I can, but still more or less original.
My current Dunmer is named Divayith Andrano, and my main Nord is Godrod Swift-Axe.
I also have a female Orc named Alma gra-Log'zub, an Altmer named Einand Ilorial and a few other side characters that I can't remember right now.
Honestly I've never given that much of a damn about lore friendliness when it comes to player names, because they honestly don't occur that often, and they're absolutely never voiced anyway.
I'm trying to edit the texture of a dwarven helmet, and it seems that no matter what I do, the color of light it reflects is always bronze. Is there a way to change the color of reflected light?

every elder scrolls or fallout character i've ever made has been named Jensen, starting far before dehr.
something about the name just fit perfectly when i first played oblivion on the 360 when it was released, and through multiple playthroughs of each (obl/sky/mor) (fo3/fo1/fnv/fo2) the great jensen has snuck, thieved, and violently torn apart thousands of enemies and tons of trinkets
Well, by lore friendly I more or less mean giving them names that at least sound like they fit and/or follow a name pattern for the race.
So, basically not naming an Argonian something like John Englebert.
The only lore friendly name I've ever made was a Dark Elf in Morrowind named Andilo Dareleth, just so I could call him Andy for short.
All of my other characters have been Argonians named Lou Sannis.
