I doubt it would be agonizing even if you couldn't carry those 10 suits of plate armor stolen from dead bandits back town.
Skyrim needs wheelbarrows
I doubt it would be agonizing even if you couldn't carry those 10 suits of plate armor stolen from dead bandits back town.
it is sometime i start dropping as much foods and eating as many ingredients as i can just to free up some space

It's like I'm dropping the carapace's worth in items." Yeah, that's not very fun.

Which weapon is not really a question, you just use the best one, simple as that

But yeah, the Grid based item system only really works in games like STALKER and the like. It would be nice if they at least modeled some kind of backpack or something though, so that it might make a little more sense than just stuffing 3 claymores in your infinitely deep pockets.

Only time I ever carried two weapons was when I was going into a place with ghosts or something, then I usually had a fine steel something along with a silver something.
Electricity Enchanted Bow + Silver arrows Flame Enchanted Warhammer Fuck shit up.

Backpacks and Rucksacks are ugly.
Sort of offtopic, but posted a thread for that bow project I was talking about a few pages back. http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1070140-Recurve-Longbow-project
thats a huge fucking bow goddamn
I wish they would bring throwing weapons back. A Throwing Axe would be great in Skyrim.
thats a huge fucking bow goddamn
That's how big a typical bow is.
thats a huge fucking bow goddamn
It's about the length of an English longbow... it comes up about low-chest high on me. Not sure what the draw force will be like, the last bow I use had an 80 pound draw force I think, I'm hoping this one comes to about 100+ between the recurve shape and lamination. Skyrim needs my bow :v: [editline]16th March 2011[/editline]
That's how big a typical bow is.
Typical longbow* Theres short bows, recurve bows, and long bows, this one's a hybrid between the last two.
Typical longbow* Theres short bows, recurve bows, and long bows, this one's a hybrid between the last two.
Yeah was meaning to alter my post, but I got rid of the tab before I got the idea of altering it.
Yeah, looking it up now, an English longbow is about 6 ft tall, mine is in 5 feet tall, though it'll probably have an equal or higher draw weight because of the recurve shape. [editline]17th March 2011[/editline]
I wish they would bring throwing weapons back. I would like throwing axes, I'm thinking of being a Huscarl kind of guy in this game, throwing axes at people would suit that.
A Friend and I were coming up with ideas for throwing axes and we came up with an assortment of ideas like fire-breathing throwing axes, and a throwing axe that throws a throwing axe. I think the throwing axe that when thrown transforms into a Dragon was our best.
Why would you want to throw a weapon, when you keep your weapon in your hands, you only need one. In all seriousness,I tend to carry a lot of weapons because I like variety... M'aiq better be in Skyrim or I will make him and voice him myself.
I like the idea that the combat has become so two handed, letting me use either hand for whatever I want and what not. Seems quite good. My deepest hope is that modding isn't as annoying as it has been with oblivion.
The poem sang in the trailer in Thu'um(Dragon Language) is fucking epic. If only there was a way to fully learn that language, I'd study it until my eyes cringed of pain.

For most its drop the contents in the data folder, activate in OMM/Wyrebash/etc and start the game.
Modding in Oblivion is piss easy, as is installing them. For most its drop the contents in the data folder, activate in OMM/Wyrebash/etc and start the game.
My main gripe was how easily mods conflicted.
My main gripe was how easily mods conflicted.
That's unavoidable as long as mods are easy to make. Two mods cannot edit the same file, to my knowledge I don't think there's a way that both could work at once. The reason conflictions happen is because two mods will often overwrite the same existing files packed into the .esm, so whichever mod is loaded last will take priority. It would help a lot if you could set "mod priority" in the default file manager this time, though, so you can decide which ones should take precedent.
Reread this again at the Imperial Library site, thought it might be interesting to post. It was written during Tiber Septim's campaign, so there's probably a good deal of propaganda among the facts.
"The Tongues" The Nords have long practiced a spiritual form of magic known as "The Way of the Voice", based largely on their veneration of the Wind as the personification of Kynareth. Nords consider themselves to be the children of the sky, and the breath and the voice of a Nord is his vital essence. Through the use of the Voice, the vital power of a Nord can be articulated into a thu'um, or shout. Shouts can be used to sharpen blades or to strike enemies at a distance. Masters of the Voice are known as Tongues, and their power is legendary. They can call to specific people over hundreds of miles, and can move by casting a shout, appearing where it lands. The most powerful Tongues cannot speak without causing destruction. They must go gagged, and communicate through a sign language and through scribing runes. In the days of the Conquest of Morrowind and the founding of the First Empire, the great Nord war chiefs - Derek the Tall, Jorg Helmbolg, Hoag Merkiller - were all Tongues. When they attacked a city, they needed no siege engines; the Tongues would form up in a wedge in front of the gatehouse, and draw in breath. When the leader let it out in a thu'um, the doors were blown in, and the axemen rushed into the city. Such were the men that forged the First Empire. But, alas for the Nords, one of the mightiest of all the Tongues, Jurgen Windcaller (or The Calm, as he is better known today), became converted to a pacifist creed that denounced use of the Voice for martial exploits. His philosophy prevailed, largely due to his unshakable mastery of the Voice -- his victory was sealed in a legendary confrontation, where The Calm is said to have "swallowed the Shouts" of seventeen Tongues of the militant school for three days until his opponents all lay exhausted (and then became his disciples). Today, the most ancient and powerful of the Tongues live secluded on the highest peaks in contemplation, and have spoken once only in living memory, to announce the destiny of the young Tiber Septim (as recounted in Cyrodiil). In gratitude, the Emperor has recently endowed a new Imperial College of the Voice in Markarth, dedicated to returning the Way of the Voice to the ancient and honorable art of war. So it may be that the mighty deeds of the Nord heroes of old will soon be equaled or surpassed on the battlefields of the present day.
Teleport/jumping shouts? Rival Thu'um users who can potentially "swallow" your own shouts? A college in Markarth (one of the confirmed cities) dedicated to it's use? Sounds awesome.
Yeah, I remember reading that in Oblivion. That's what I thought dragon shouts were initially.
