Yep. You can ask any DF adventurer who has played the recent versions extensively. For example, I was tasked to get rid of a hydra so I go to it's cave, after ten minutes of searching I gave up. I went back to the town and Lo! the Hydra was standing over the corpses of the ENTIRE TOWN.
And speaking of caves, the caves in which you have to kill an evil creature are filled with the bodies of warriors that the beast has killed, some caves, IIRC, also have treasure areas filled with, for example, coins from different fortresses.
And the warriors' bodies in the caves also have their own backstory, I believe. Meaning you can go back to a nearby town and talk to people and find out that, for example, one of the warriors was the husband of some farmer chick or something.
And the adventurers you can invite to quest with you have their life-stories and hates as well. One time I was with my friends and decided to raid a goblin fortress. Turned out one of my dudes was friendly with those goblins and started attacking me.
Also I didn't intent to help turning this thread into a "What happened to you in DF" thread.
Replaying through Morrowind as a Dunmer "rogue". Then Oblivion as an Imperial, and once Skyrim is release I'll play it as a Nord.
Guys, there will be beards, do not worry about it.
Bethesda wouldnt DARE to leave the great Greybeards without beards.

For the ones not browsing the Video forum.
Also, my reaction.
I want the "realistic hair" feature and a long long beard/hair flattering in the wind.
God, that would be awesome.
I will apply beard textures to the leaves of trees, so the trees will have beards that flatter in the wind.

Small chance of the long beard whiplashing into your face.
I will have a sword with a beard.
I shall become... A GREY BEARDEN!
Haha, I just realized that the sex mods will be even worse this time now that there's weighted animations and animation blending.
Dick physics!

But then good things come out of that.
Vagina physics :v:
I can't imagine what TESnexus will be like after november...

$10 SkyrimNexus.
What will your first mod be, guys?
I shall remove the Greybeards beards just for shits and giggles.

a god weapon probably
I will make a big-ass mountain full of dangerous.. stuff to get used to the new engine, assuming the terrain lod generation doesn't fucking suck like it did in Oblivion and Fallout, it was a joke. Hopefully you can edit more than one cell at a time this time, too. It's really hard to tell what the fuck you're doing when you can only edit and view one cell at a time.
Might make High Rock (or bits of it, at least) if it's not in the game, will be taking a 3d modeling and animation course by that time anyways so it'll be good practice making buildings and props and what have you.

Gay furry mods will probably come first.
Man those will look even more out of place on the new game engine and world than they did in morrowind and oblivion (though, mostly oblivion).
Also, who else is going to mod Cliff Racers back in?
I did in Oblivion.

Masochists I assume.
Did they release any information about the power of dragons yet?
I mean, I'd really like dragons to be rather OP then being able to whack them to death with a butter knife.
I'd love having to run like fuck from a dragon. Would make the joy of defeating one so much bigger.
I really hope they release a Dwemer Skyship mod for this.

It really is a beautiful piece of work just on Oblivion; it could be even better with Skyrim.

Until dragons destroy it.
I wonder if there will be a mod that add beard's to the dragons.
I wonder if there will be a mod that adds bushy beards to EVERYONE.

Wrong game..?
Sorry there are obviously Grey Wardens in TES, that game where you drink darkspawn blood and fight an archdemon...

With us on board, huddling together in fear as it plunges to the ground below like lice in a burning wig.
i doubt it would happen, but i really wouldnt mind seeing some fable 2 esque "multiplayer" where your companion can be played by another person (and when they leave your companion is just AI)
