Ruined Tail's Tale, Mart's Monster Mod, and Realswords would be my top mods.

FCOM is pretty good. It's not that hard to install if you can follow directions. In fact, it's the first Oblivion mod I installed.

Realswords and MMM are both components of FCOM, which you should install as it is awesome and overhauls most aspects of the game. [editline]10th April 2011[/editline] Also, Frostcrag reborn (might be revisited) is an AMAZING mod if you have the Frostcrag Spire DLC. A metric shit-ton of secrets and it makes the spire much bigger and much better.

The ruin is too godamn dark for my liking. But for some reason, I still love that ruin. Also, I don't think I've ever said the word 'found' so many times in one sentence.
