Plus I don't remember that many instances where you even have a companion helping you.. It's even harder where you play near the hardest difficulty with modified weapon damage so your sword 1-2 shots normal mobs.

Never.[/QUOTE] that's not what it's doing, it's pretty obvious what it does really it makes it so that if there are friendly NPCs and enemy NPCs fighting close to you, when you swing your sword at them, it will ignore the ally and hit the enemy instead this is good because so many times have there been clusters of people and I can't attack because I'm afraid I will accidentally hit an ally and he will hate me and start attacking me instead of the enemy

Can anyone please tell me why Morrowind with MGE XE lags for me? I have a quad core at 3.4ghz, an HD 6950 and 4gbs of ram. Distant land is turned on, it's geometry detail level is set to 'high' out of maximum possible 'ultra high'.
