What body are you using?
HGEC and Robert's Male, purely because no-one makes decent hires textures for the vanilla bodies. I should really enable the underwear version, it looks weird with a few things but at least it's not as awkward as playing through a cave of those FCOM Amazons with family in the room.

Odd, those are what I use and the textures don't mess up like that.
DR6 refuses to work for me.

Hmm. I am using some custom hires textures, but it looks more like model clipping than anything else. No matter, it doesn't affect gameplay and as long as it only affects the ;charred corpse' effect I think I can live with it.
I love DR6's sneak attack jump thing, it's awesome.

I just followed the instructions to install and it worked fine, the above issue notwithstanding.
I installed DR6 and have had absolutely no issues with it.

Yeah, despite being the most feature rich iteration yet it's probably the most stable and polished one I've used.
"So, Mr. Dagon, why are you taking over the world?"
Well, Uriel VII was dieing, so I guessed this was the good time to gather a cult to assassinate him and his heirs. Now, I originally ruled this world, so it is MY world.
But then my arch rival AKATOSH removed me.
"But you do know that now you are just destroying the world right?"
....
Mehrunes Dagon is the Prince of Destruction. He wants his world destroyed, but the Daedric realms and the Daedra themselves constantly regenerate. It's like being in a personal, ironic hell that you rule over.
I hope the conversations in Skyrim are as good as this:Pay attention to the kids voice.

I made a skyrim tribute trailer, I'm uploading it now

If I were the god of destruction that'd be heaven! I mean, if everything stayed dead/destroyed then eventually you'd run out of things to, y'know, DESTROY. Things would get boring fast. But if shit regenerated, then the fun of causing destruction would never end!
Until you go mad since all that you attempt to destroy comes back.
Any mod compilations out there that don't take a lot of install time and that have a lot of features? FCOM keeps on CTDing on me and I really don't want to reinstall.

I don't know of many mod compilations, for the most part it's mix and match. FCOM should work though if you install it right.

i spent hours on this, my keyboard is caked with blood and sweat due to the sheer effort it took me to create this

I installed it right and midway through my save I CTD when I'm near certain parts of the game. It has something to do with the graphics because when I remove grass through the settings, approached the part where I CTD and I didn't CTD. I tried this for other parts but I still CTD'd.
I'd rather have something simple at this point that wouldn't take a long time to install.
Well the only mod 'compilation' I possess, if you could call it that, is the Unique Landscapes compilation. Everything else is mix and match, barring fcom of course.

Fucking laughed
Needed more anime mods.
Am thinking of reinstalling Oblivion... has anyone got a list of upgrading it so that it feels fresh? ( i know of FCOM so please list others  )
Alright, so my first play-through of Daggerfall is going... surprisingly well. I started off as an Argonian Acrobat, and got an Ebony Dagger at the start of the dungeon, so I could butcher my way through everyone there.
Then, in this Egyptian Coffin I found this awesome statue which gives me the ability to cast an area-effect fireball, which pretty much guaranteed me safe passage through the dungeon. I'm not even sure how much I can use it.
Now I'm in the town of daggerfall, with a full suit of leather armor and a helm.
Until you go mad since all that you attempt to destroy comes back.
Then you don't have the right frame of mind for destroying shit. It doesn't matter if it comes back, because as Delphine Jend of the Bravil Mages Guild has said, "Let's face it, blowing things up can be ever so much fun!". It's why I'm a Godzilla fan, it's why I love the Mercenaries games so much, it's why I'm excited for BF3, and so on. Because watching shit getting destroyed is fun. The aftermath, not so much. Having nothing to destroy is boring.
That's why Mehrunes Dagon sucks at being the embodiment of destruction. He wants lasting destruction when he doesn't realize that when all's said and done and there's nothing left to destroy, he's out of a job.
nevermind

Leather armor is uber common, but the other stuff was really lucky.

If the thing you destroyed comes back, then you didn't destroy it at all.
But still, more than one source says that destroying the world is his job. The Mythic Dawn believe that Mehrunes Dagon is not just the Prince of Destruction and Disaster, but also the Prince of Revolution, and try to hasten his campaign to take back Nirn (which they believe is another plane of Oblivion that was taken over by the Divines.)
And if you belive what those crazy Nords in Skyrim think, then Dagon was once just a leaper demon king who jumped all day, until Alduin (remember him?) discovered that he was hiding away bits of the world every time he came to destroy it at the end of time.
...but you: you I curse right here and right now! I take away your ability to jump and jump and jump and doom you to [the void] where you will not be able to leave except for auspicious days long between one and another and even so only through hard, hard work. And it will be this way, my little corner cutter, until you have destroyed all that in the world which you have stolen from earlier kalpas, which is to say probably never at all!"
* * *
He also knew that the name of "Dagon" would no longer be that of a kindly leaper demon but one who would destroy and destroy and destroy whenever he could find some small escape [from his home in the oblivion]....
All he wants to do is leap again. :saddowns:
