The beard is too mighty to do unimportant things like "stroking". It hires hands as concubines to do the stroking for it.

the idea is there are three tiers, or "bierds," of beard

the first and the second are non-negotiable, but the third bierd can be any combination of two or more beards styled in any typical beard fashion, such as "the pharoah" or "the homeless man"

I believe this is a fairly clean system and is probably the best way bethesda can handle something as sensitive as beard customization, agreed?

I think I know the reason there are no spears in Skyrim/Oblivion.
Theyre all being polished.
