The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim "And your beard's beard has beards too"

I don't.
I don't.
*sigh* Whatever you say, I don't want to argue with you guys anymore, rate me boxes, shouldn't have brought it up
And weeaboos like that. What's your point? The truth is that I shouldn't have posted an example at all

Okay, that beard WAS placed there as comic relief, but still, I'm 90% sure the average weeaboo would call it cute
I haven't seen or heard of any incident where a weaboo goes "OH MY LORD THAT BEARD. I AM NOT WORTHY". But really, do you see a future where the Nexus is filled with beard mods? I don't think so since they already formulated in their minds what Skyrim should look like, that is, look like it was ripped from a 25 cent anime comic.

Mainly because the people you pointed out are the extemely small group that are the exception to the rule:
"Weaboos do not like facial hair even though they are massive neckbeards."

I am a weeaboo, and I've said that several times. Mainly about real-life characters like Orson Welles and such, but still. No man can say "No" to a mighty beard, no matter what their opinion on japanese animation is
I just hope you can run over people with your horse. Also if there is an item similar to the Gray Cowl, Gaurds should leave me alone after I get it off. ( I once wore it for a second in some Barracks, and took it off again. The next 2 minutes were "Greetings" "How may I help you champion?" " Protect and serve, that's what we do." "Is there a problem citizen?" etc.)
I am thinking of making a manly Aryan Nord with a badass beard, or a Solsthiem born Dark Elf bent on killing all Argonions, with a badass beard too of course.

To quote myself from the Elder scrolls non-skyrim thread:

Screw Backstory, this will be my playthrough:
RAAAGAH
NORD!
RAAGAH
AXE
RAAAGAH
DRAGON
RAAAGHAAAA
KILL MAIM
RAGHAAAAA
MEAD AND WENCHES

It's a shame, I hoping for a return of my speedy argoinian spear build from morrowind.
I just want them to start up the information flow again, like they did with oblivion - the video where it was showing the woods and then the town etc. They were at the time some of the most imaginative gameplay elements I had seen. Remember going OMG mushrooms! and hunting dear! (Turned out to be trickier than expected) and the dogs and AI in chorrol blew my mind, eager to see those kind of vids again.
Just hope they implement all the stuff they are talking about, and if so well damn somebody is actually putting effort into making a game!
Not trying to be a smartass here, but that's pretty wrong. Weeaboos like manly stuff as well.
And for the woman-beards... Yeah, weeaboos like that as well..

I'd call it Flammable
Which helps
What TES really needs is a smack talking system.
Enemy lights your beard on fire*
"Agh my beard! You'll pay for that!"
It could work like this. (Note: Time halts during this)
<Button Pressed>
<Dialog pops up>
<Choose [respond] [speak]>
respond will give options for something that just happened or was just said to you.
speak will give options for speaking first.
You choose [respond]
then [cocky]
out of that a random generation of "You'll pay for that" will be said and your opponent and you can scream profanities at each other until you are both dead :D
I don't know, just something that popped into my head is all.
i wonder if you'll be able to push people into fighting you like morrowind, I always enjoyed that

Beards are for men, not mer :colbert:
I think the elf races will look weird with facial hair.
if not beards for beast races than something similar, the lizard and cheetah equivalent of beards i suppose
orcs will need beards this is for certain
i also hope orcs are more savage looking beasts of pure barbarianism, not human green things with bad teeth
I plan on remaking the character I played as in Oblivion and FO3 (Basically, I went for a pretty similar look for both), except this one'll have a manly beard. I'll then make up some backstory, and write my own journal of my adventures in Skyrim in a short-story format. Either that or I LP it, as I do, I RP as my character. Either way, it'll be great

The Dark Elves in Morrowind were absolutely badass with their beards. They looked liked badass blue banditos. Especially the two that actually were banditos.

I hope they will sound as beastly as they look. Seeing some green thing with the most horrible face and gigantic teeth and then hearing a perfectly normal voice is kind of weird.

The Dark Elves are pussies. I'm glad they lost their homelands.
I want to see a little ghoul in the orcs. Something was just off about 90% of the visuals in Oblivion.

Gamebryo.
Wasnt an issue with gamebryo it was the facegen system they implemented. Not to mention by default the face textures in Oblivion are like 128x128 or some ridiculously small resolution like that. You can't really put much detail into faces when the textures are that small.
All the other "plastic" looking stuff was more an issue with texture work.
What is all this beard talk?
Didn't see a thread for oblivion so figured I would post here. I heard good things about it so I decided I would get it and see how it is. When does the game take off? I really hope this is just the start. But there is so much fucking walking. I must have spent 20 minutes walking to the first freaking objective.
Just played Skyrim at my friend's house about 30 minutes ago. Was awesome.
no you didn't shut up
no you didn't shut up
