Gah, IMHO, Dragons are the least original and shittiest fantasy creature/plot device.
the thing is, you either fight the dragons, or you fight for them, in every single one ofthese thing there's a 'elder dragon' you listen to or a super evil dragon you end up slaying.
not to mention the certain apprearance of dragonscale armour.
now, give me some originality, replace dragons with ancient magical insects, created by gods, inset with gold, steel and jewels in their shells, sure it may sound a bit retarded, but it doesn't lead you to a GENERIC_FANTASY_PLOT#33
oh yeah, you bastards finally brought me out of lurking, hello Facepunch.
You forgot how good use of dragons can make any game a fuckton better
Im fine with dragons I just hope they aren't cliched., I'll be disappoint if I can't speak to them.
I hope the dragons can poop :h:
[editline]13th February 2011[/editline]
and then you eat it
Sadly that probably WILL be modded in.

Basically here is the plot:
Alduin, the great destroyer of worlds, was banished and would have stayed banished if it weren't for the destruction of the amulet of kings, the amulet that was worn by every emperor of cyrodiil since the reformation of the empire. Over the years Alduin's destruction was forgotten and he became Akatosh, a revered deity. The banishment pact was broken with the amulet and now Alduin/Akatosh has risen to eat the world of Nirn once again.

Dragon Dung:
+10 Strength
+10 Agility
+30 Willpower
+20 Intelligence
+20 Constitution
+100 Damage
+20 Armor
+40 Beard Length
Unique Ability: Throw so bad that you throw up your stomach and then you turn into a flame.
For 200 seconds.
I hope you're able to remove dragon's hearts with your bare hands and eat them to gain their strength and wisdom.
I like it how they tie in the story of the other games
Ghost page fix
Did they say how much quests there will be yet?

seven of them
seven of them
No silly, there are seven characters. There are only 3 quests.
I know this a skyrim thread but I have no idea how to put mods I've downloaded for oblivion actually on to the game. Can someone pleeeeeaaase help me? :(
why did they announce it a fucking year before release.
god dammit i dont want to waitt
You usually put them in the Data folder in the main oblivion directory. Then you run Oblivion Launcher and go to Data Files and enable the mods you want. Or you can use Oblivion Mod Manager if you want.

No, but for the heck of it I'll guess something like 150

That's in Oblivion now. I'm sure there will be more this time around. What I'm more curious about is the size of the world. Oblivion is large, but the environments all look and feel the same. I'm hoping Skyrim is huge and includes other provinces so I may return to Cryodil or Morrowind.

That would pretty much break the element that every game is unique.
This sure has my purchase.
8 months 25 days 4 hours and 20 seconds, not long now....

Not necessarily. Every game has it's own story to tell in different times. All I ask is to be able to explore the world of TES. Why should I be limited to one province when there is a whole continent to explore. I don't expect that to happen though. The game would be huge if they did that. Too huge for DVD. I just hope Skyrim doesn't feel small.

I wanted to say that it will come even faster cosidering the summer holiday. And then I rememberd that the closer the release date is, the slower time goes.

Want to explore the land behind TES?
Play daggerfall.
I know people like going it solo, and I know Bethesda won't put it in, but sometimes coop would be cool. I am not sure how exactly it would work with all the skillets and everything, but riding around Skyrim with my brother would be awesome to me.

Or Arena, seeing as it contains all of Tamriel.

My brother was discussing this issue with me not too long ago, then he said " But what if someone dies?"

some sort of revival magic.
[editline]13th February 2011[/editline]
Or a shock spell on touch, like defibs :P.

Then the person who died must create a new character, and the one who died goes to a graveyard. Can't bring back the dead, that's necromancy and it's illegal!

Load a savegame. Make it so you cannot quicksave after somebody has died.

When you die, you become buried but your beard keeps growing. Eventually, it can span all of Skyrim and you can use your beard to shoot out of the ground and make a controllable beard warrior to fight as.
