I hope they don't recycle that part from Morrowind where you couldn't complete a main quest unless you were a female, had a high personality, or had high illusion skill.
I hope there wont be as many lisps in this game as there was in Oblivion.
Cept there's no more Agility (Attributes are axed entirely, actually).
And they said they took out acrobatics (but they might still have athletics in and just lump "acrobatic" stuff into athetics. Makes sense if you think about it since they are essentually the same thing).
Been balling this around in my head after I read it.
Where did you hear that there are no attributes? I googled it and it looks like that's just a bullshit myth, do you have a source that states there are no attributes? I have a feeling this might just be a rouge myth started by some obscure forum post somewhere. I can't imagine how the game would work without some sort of attribute system.

True, it's really bothersome to find those awesome gems in the midst of a fucking hellhole.
Stop you criminal beard.
but if you do that, it would be weird, you'd make a second facepunch :v:
we should have a Oblivion Mod Emporium or something :v: maybe a Skyrim mod emporium, too bad we don't have a Elder Scrolls Section.

Boobs should have beards.
Right?

Beards should have boobs with beards upon them.
and people complain that the normal faces look like mutated potatoes :colbert:...
I complained about it mostly, they always end up looking as potatoes or burned onions, I've seen watermelons too.
I REALLY hope they get far-off landscapes nailed and graphics optimized.
For example, in Just Cause 2, the graphics are truly amazing, while I'm getting a consistent 40-50 FPS @ 1080p and all high/very high with 2x AA. And this is just on an Nvidia GTX 460M (equivalent to ATI Radeon 5750).

Just Cause 2 has to be the most optimized thing since sliced milk.
Am I the only person who would really like an in-game journal that you can write in? I've always felt that in Oblivion there were so many times when I would like to take notes on what I was doing, maybe even publish it to a retailer in the Imperial City or something. Seemed like a cool idea.
So you have never been playing Arma 2...
what's that got to do with anything?
what's that got to do with anything?
There should be a feature where you can mark your own landmarks on a blank map, like if there a wayshrines or something, instead of having to fanny about looking in a 1 km square area

:P, yeah I seem to remember Bethesda talking about the DLC for Skyrim that turns it into a war simulator.

I hope you don't get a map with everything marked in Skyrim. Instead, you have to follow signs, ask around for directions and so on, but when you have discovered a location it will show up in the map. It felt pretty linear in Oblivion that you could just open up the map and 4 seconds later you were teleported.

Actually seems useful. Not only is it useful for RP purposes (helps give your character some personality), but if there was a way to export the journal entries you could put it in blog-format and post stories here or somewhere else.

The models and crap don't look good, but the background/mountains and land look amazing, from close and far.

Thank you! This is gonna be good.

Show me better.
Edit: In a freeroam, 3rd person game with physics.
I'm playing Oblivion right now and I'd like more animations.
Is there an animation pack that's not animoo/completely unfitting? The only ones I can find are like devil may cry and Slof's sexy walks. Individual animations would be helpful aswell.

Also for diaries, this is a particularly useful one. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3629
