Head bobbing while running isn't that bad
I just can't stand when you're walking and it seems like you're drunk
Even the head bobbing while running is stupid. A very tiny one is ok
I like head bobbing while running. I hate games where I feel like Im rolling around on skates.
A bit of head bobbing and good qaulity footstep sounds. Or head bobbing and the option to turn it off. Most games that have head bobbing do let you turn it off, since some people get motion sick from it.
If you get motion sick from head bobbing, then wouldn't you get motion sick from walking in real life?
If you get motion sick from head bobbing, then wouldn't you get motion sick from walking in real life?
Exactly. Your brain compensates for it when you walk or run.
Like if you wear a helmet with a camera attached to it and run down a street. Try and watch what you just recorded and it will be a blurry mess.
That's why it's kinda dumb to put head bobbing in FPS

He's badass, we need him.

Head bobbing can increase immersion ten fold if done correctly, but it's a fine line between immersing you and giving you a headache.
A very fine line, if they get it right it will be great.
This trailer is more effective then any energy drink. Fucking pumped every time I watch it.
I made a small list for things I want wen it comes to dungeons:
1. Skeletons of different races.
2. I don't want to see random skulls look like they're angry all the time (real life skulls look sad)
3. I want to enter some random cave and find out it's like a hideout for some super enemy who is guarding awesome loot.
If anything, the thing that gets me most pumped for this is game is the bit with the 2-handed fire spell or whatever. The magic actually looks mystic and powerful this time.
I think after seeing the trailer and such it would be impossible for me to make any other race besides Nord. A viking nord. With dual axes. And that horned helmet you see in the trailer. It is the only way.

Exactly what I was going to point out. Morrowind and Oblivion felt really open when it came to possible character. While in Skyrim I just feel that a burly nord with an axe is the only way to go. I mean, can you imagine a scrawny little wood elf with a black cloak and dagger standing in front of that dragon? And shouting FUSRODA! in his squeaky wood elf voice? I think not.
That being said, I am really looking forward trying to make different characters. Seems like both archery and stealth will be more viable this time. I don't think I could be more hyped for a game.
The only game I want leaked.
I mean I would still buy it, because leaks usually run terribly slow.
But for a short time in this...
Would absolutely ruin my opinion of the game. I want to see the finished and released product, not some beta or unfinished version.
And does anyone else hope for better water? It looked really bad in the video.
I'm extremely pysched about how different this will be from the last Elder Scrolls. I know Bethesdas going to let us at the SDK and all that other fun stuff too, so we'll see overhauls and fixes before too long.
I'm so tempted to make a redguard, but I fear racist nords.
Well, I know that without doubt my first playthrough will be a male nord, but once I am done with that, I'll "mess around" a bit, playing different characters, but I want my first time to be special~ :h:

As gay as that may sound, it's true as fuck
The textures look horrible on most things, luckily it's one of the easiest (and first) things to be modded.

Linear as hell gameplay, great textures.
Open-world amazing gameplay, decent textures.
Pick one.

Well, while an open-world game with great textures is possible, I'd take great gameplay over great textures ANY DAY
I don't like how the dragon flies at the end of the trailer. Looks so unnatural, but this will probably be improved.

On PC, I can pick both open-world amazing gameplay and great textures.
Each skeleton should have a different bone-structure.
The game is like 10 months away, they gave you a gameplay trailer with what they have right now. Things will be fixed, stop whining about a few textures.

It's confirmed that they captured the footage for the trailer on the X360 version of the game.
Lets hope they add I've fought mud crabs more fearsome than you just for fun.

I never get why companies do this, if they want you to be excited (granted I already am) why would they show you gameplay of the game that is worse off compared to the PC one? Why not PC gameplay?

Considering the fact that dragons ain't real and the animators have nothing to compare with, i thought it look very nice.
They have tons to compare it to--it's just a matter of choice. Does a dragon fly like a hawk (gliding, etc)? Then use hawks as comparison. Maybe a dragon flies more like a swan, or a crane, etc. etc.

Because the animations are the same and they're only showing tiny snippets of gameplay, so there's no time to take in small details of the shot--just overall perceptions, which look nice because of lighting, composition, etc.

But surely it must be easier to record/what have you PC gameplay?
Each skeleton should have a different bone-structure.
I want skeletons of different races, like an Orc skeleton (the only difference would be the skull so that should be easy to make.

Someone talked about console gamers being dissappointed when they actually get their copies, and they look worse than in the trailers. Does make sense in a way.
If you get motion sick from head bobbing, then wouldn't you get motion sick from walking in real life?
Nope.
Exactly. Your brain compensates for it when you walk or run.
Nope.
Motion sickness is caused by a discrepancy between your eye and inner ear. Your sense of balance tells your brain that you are NOT moving, but the head bobbing makes it look as if you are. Makes you feel dizzy and nauseous.
It's the same thing as car sickness, your body registers you as moving, but if you don't look out the window, it'll confuse your senses. In some sense, since head bobbing may make you motion sick it's because it does look realistic, realistic enough that it tricks your brain into thinking you are moving :eng101:
