Beautiful.
That's one of the reasons I want to learn how to play the Piano keyboard. make cool videos about skyrim and other epic games.
Probably it never existed.
Yeah I think so too. "Oh we had put lots of time and money in the development of a super-advanced life-like AI but then when it was done we decided not to use it and instead of just limiting it we completely removed it and added in some braindead shit instead".
Do games ever live up to the lofty expectations set before them? I think most times not. Fable anyone? I was at the Xbox 360 launch in Palmdale, California in 2005 when the Bethesda peeps showed a beta build of Oblivion. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.. that was before they took out all the shadows and cool lighting effects. When I finally played it on my 360, I was sorely disappointed...
The worst thing in oblivion imho was the horrible blandness of everything and those ugly, ugly NPC faces that still haunt me.
The NPC faces and the old wench that voiced all the female old elves... UGH. I can't even take the game serious now because there are really like 4 voice actors in the whole game... at least that is how it seems. After using the EVE Online character creator, I am spoiled forever. All other character creators SUCK. So ironic that it is for a space sim where you don't even get to control your character has the best creator.
Skyrim trailer at half-speed: Soundtrack music sounds even more amazing and x3 as epic when slowed down
:coal:
That's a great arrangement, but the guy played a few chords in the wrong inversion.
Would it be 6x Epic if we slow it down to 1/4 ? :)

Who ever made the video should've left the voices be affected by the slowdown, now it's just a stutterfuck.
I don't mean to churn the stew of PC elitism, but does it really matter what system anyone decides to play this on? Shouldn't we all just be excited for the same game? There is no need for this elitist "PC is master race" bullshit, everyone who is hyping Skyrim on Xbox/PS3 is just as excited as you are.
You can be excited all you want, doesn't change the fact that it's going to be way better on the PC
It's a matter of choice, but I agree. I played Oblivion on xbox and PC and the PC version is way better in my opinion, I liked it a lot more. I always feel so limited with consoles, it feels like Im just renting the game since all I can do is play it.. can't mod it, can't change settings, can't access the game files, etc. It's like buying a car that has it's hood welded shut (:iiaca:). Of course, it's the same with the PC version, you're technically just renting/licensing the game data, but with the PC version you can do so much more with it.

No one is going OH MY GOD YOU'RE GETTING SKYRIM ON THE CONSOLE ARE YOU RETARDED OR SOMETHING But saying the PC version ISN'T going to be better is wrong
I just thought of something. Say you're a thief, and you want to steal something quietly. Won't this render Dragon Shouts as kind of idiotic?
I just thought of something. Say you're a thief, and you want to steal something quietly. Won't this render Dragon Shouts as kind of idiotic?
Huh? Not like you need to go into somebody's house and blow all the shit off their walls with some dragon shout. "Exuse me sir what are you doing in my hou-" "OUS SRPA-CHAAAAA!!!!!!"
I just thought of something. Say you're a thief, and you want to steal something quietly. Won't this render Dragon Shouts as kind of idiotic?
if you're trying to sneak, why the fuck would you Shout inside someone's house? no offense, but that was a dumb question. the shout's more like something to be used if you're in danger, with a lot of enemies or a giant dragon in your front.
I just thought of something. Say you're a thief, and you want to steal something quietly. Won't this render Dragon Shouts as kind of idiotic?
I read somewhere, they said something like when you sneak, you whisper dragon shouts, not scream them.
I read somewhere, they said something like when you sneak, you whisper dragon shouts, not scream them.
links or didn't happen
Page King's video made my skin tingly.
I read somewhere, they said something like when you sneak, you whisper dragon shouts, not scream them.
Wasn't there some sort of dragon whisper that would teleport you up close to your victim?
Is character customization confirmed? It seems like since they've already given him a name and a story there will be less room for it in Skyrim.
Yeah some shouts are more stealthy and will garner a whisper, like the teleport one
Whoever was playing the gameplay in the trailer obviously sucks at assassinations. I mean he killed a dude in front of 2 other people...
